To practice set up a mission with a Hawk SR, TR and Launcher. Your pod will see the Search Radar from a long distance and you can kill it before you come into range of the launcher quite easily if you have some altitude. It is a good way to practice.

I made a simple mission 4 hours ago to practice IL-78 refuelling and that has been 4 hours of tough work! Needs even more concentration than a dogfight. At least in a dogfight you know that you win some, you lose some. If I mess up refuelling it's all down to me. Well, 4 hours in and a couple of (minor!!) collisions with the tanker and I've basically got the hang of it. It's hard though. I bet there's some automated way I'm missing.

I love the Mig-15, I think it's one of the most beautiful planes ever. I really hope it comes.

Hi all, I have a screenshot key bound and the sim does a micropause when I take a shot so I reckon that bit is working, but I can't find the screenshots afterwards. Which folder are they saved to please? Thank you ian

OK it was me. It works without TrackIR but not with. Sure enough, something in TrackIR I never use was bound to F7. Fixed, cheers.

But talking to AWACS worked in 129 and now it doesn't.

Er what? Can someone please see if they can contact AWACS or if it is a new bug?

Fixed but not in changelog: The A-10A RWR crash bug. Tested with the Tor, no problems. Broken?: Can't contact AWACS orEWR using the F7 radio any more. Anyone else? I still get BRA reports from them but I can't talk to them now.

He's not too bad in a Cobra (order your wingie to engage him while you try and get close for guns) but he was murder in an AH-64D!
