Before that, try and start a wtb Warthog base thread in the hardware sales forum. I have the fssb R3 (which is great) and thus have the Warthog base laying around collecting dust. I cant be the only one with a spare Warthog base.

Valve Index here. Mfd text edges are very fuzzy / oversaturated like others describe.

I have fssb r3 and i think force sensing sticks are mounted to the side because you primarily use your fingertips to steer so a supported static underarm makes fine adjustment easier. Its really only good for fly by wire planes. Helicopters f.ex are almost impossible. Space Combat games are possible but your hand will get quite the workout

I use my GF Pro/MCG mostly for WW2 and helicopters and have been quite happy with #10 cams and 40 spring for roll and 50 for pitch. I did try and use it in F/A-18C but that combo was too mushy around center esp in pitch. So after reading this thread I too switch pitch CAM from #10 to #30 and changed roll spring from 40 to 50. This makes the joystick very nice for modern planes as well and I honestly dont feel the difference in WW2 and Helis.
