  1. I still have to buy the usbLCD card from OC but I will be happy to help you when I get it. I will send you a PM in a few months when I have some spare time! Thanks for your help!
  2. Hi Gremlin77. I have no programing skills at all but is there some way to use your software with SIOC and the usbLCD card from OC? Regards, Daniel.
  3. Hey Linden how do you plan to synchronize the enconder inputs and the digits shown in your panel? Nice work by the way!
  4. Don't worry Gadroc I can wait. Please take your time ;)
  5. Hello. I need pics/drawings and dimensions of the gear handle of the Warthog. Could anybody arround here share this info? I am planning to build my own gear handle and I want it to look as close as possible to the real deal. Cheers, Daniel.
  6. You can use his UHF radio panel for the Viper. You can find it in http://www.checksix-fr.com/
  7. Yes, it is a laser engraved plexiglass sheet.
  8. That is the professional solution. I will use a paintbrush to fix the scratches. With the room lights off and the panels backlit I will hardly see the difference
  9. I am backlighting them with LED strips from Ebay: This panel looks scratched because I have been messing with it for the last 5 months...
  10. A 0.2euro each cm2 this panel cost 45 euro. I did not order the lower layers though. I will make those with cheap acrylic to save money.
  11. I order custom designed panels to this store. They sell mostly civil aviation stuff and some Viper panels, but they also work with custom designs. You just have to send them your file, calculate the price and pay. I sent them my files before paying just to be sure they were OK. Here is the result: This is a custom designed panel for my generic cockpit: 3mm plexiglass ready to be backlit.
  12. Now I understand. You are building the entire glareshield. Good job btw!
  13. Can I ask you why did you extend it that long? Unless your legs are 2m long I dont see any reason to extend it that much!
  14. Great job Bignewy! I love your UFC. What kind of LCD are you using and which software runs it by the way? Regards, Daniel.
  15. Congratulations. It looks amazing!
  16. Excelent work! Hopefully in a few weeks Ill be following your steps. I am doing the woodwork at the moment but I have already purchased my OC hardware. I cant wait to start building my own panels!
  17. I don't know the specific dimensions of those switches, but here you can find 15x15mm and 19x19mm "korry" type switches: http://hispapanels.com/tienda22/product_info.php?cPath=21_51&products_id=326 http://hispapanels.com/tienda22/product_info.php?cPath=21_51&products_id=335
  18. Thanldrak you for your work R1. Is there a chance we could get the same files in CorelDRAW format?
  19. Couldn't something like this be used for our cockpits?
  20. The cheapest way is not to control the backlightining via software at all. Simply conect your leds to a PSU and use a dimmer to control the brightness. Leave your controller outputs for something more useful, like the caution panel. Who cares if you can't read the 3D cockpit panels at night having a real life sim cockpit. Just my two cents.
