Hud is close to invisible in bright weather

Has anyone heard anything about a fix for this? I find the altitude number in particular to be super hard to read. -
And that page includes a reminder of the keybind to transfer target coordinates which is real handy.

I've just flown this mission and 44X was significantly offset from the Tarawa so I had to do half the mission by eye. Is this still on the to-fix list? Of course fuel was ok by the time I'd figured it out. Also, I waited the 10 seconds and then made the break turn to the left, but I got no further mission prompts after that. Should I have waited for a break signal? Awesome training missions BD! :]

I'm getting occasional black 'flashes' in the Harrier. More evident while on the ground.
