  1. The shape of the waves and the direction they are moving very much determines if there are reflections to be seen and how much. Me personally i think the reflection in DCS-A10 very well fits the shape of the wave. The wave shape however is my main concern with the water in A10. Its the wave shape of a bath tub or any other very small water surface (wave size/speed). I see a major improvement is possible there. Happy New Year to All
  2. Works great! Thankyou :holiday:
  3. A last one for Flamin Squirrel: Amber seems to be the middle of the boom. That's where i concentrated on rather than the Green zone.
  4. Those four little round buttons like the AP button? Don't touch them, they are out by default, if i'm correct, and that's how it should be. Oops double reply, haha. So they are in by default? Ok :)
  5. This is how i managed, maybe it is of some help. When i was lined up nicely behind the tanker and at the correct altitude for the boom, i engaged AP. From that point i didn't move the elevator axis of the stick anymore (the plane stayed perfectly level with the tanker). Got closer and the boom connected. From there only tiny aileron movements to stay well in line. And i found i had to be just a little more quick with the throttle to keep the boom connected. It took quite some time before completely filled up, but what seemed impossible, suddenly looked easy when the tanks were almost filled. For me AP is the way to go.
  6. Thanks all for the support  On second thought this might open a can to more radio messages as well. Now it is limited to 12 keys. Doesn't the military readback messages? Always when tower says to 'taxi to' or 'cleared take off' i want to 'Roger' that but it's yet missing.
  7. Yeah, i'm thinking about such a keyboard too. But then, i have not enough room in front of me. My keyboard is on a table to my left. I can find F1 and F2 blindly but higher than that it gets complicated :)
  8. Comes to mind, make sure there are no other controllers assigned to same axes. Can't recall what exacly, but i had a thing going when i moved aileron, the elevator would move a little too
  9. I tried this too with a wingman but it looks like a WIP to me. He positions himself correct but the boom did never connect. And he wouldn't listen to other commands either, he just stayed there (did look very easy for him, even when banking through the turn). I went rtb and after landing i watched external views but only the tanker and myself were left, he must have crashed, out of fuel.
  10. This might have been brought up before. Since FC i find it hard to locate these F## keys on my keyboard (specially at night) to control the radio. Now that we have a HOTAS switch for radio tuning how about if we could use the same switch to select the radio items. Like eg. when the radio is selected use another button of this switch to scroll down. Then make a selection with another button from this switch. And again scroll down and make a selection of the radio command. So everything HOTAS, all to our convience.
  11. When pulling excessive G's some older man have problems keeping it dry, that's what the bag is for :music_whistling:
  12. Ah, cat strikes!
  13. DCS A10-C needs bump map :D
  14. Canopy part 2 This time the canopy disconnected well when i took off in canopy open mode :) It remained for the rest of the flight on the runway.
