  1. Can confirm. For a loadout of 4 x BRU-33, 2 x LAU-61, 19 x MK151 I get a total A/C weight 243,920 pounds, or about 120 tons.
  2. Hey Crowman, thanks for trying to help! I also tried this. First of all: When I hold FCS BIT and push FCS RESET for a short time, nothing happens. When instead of pushing FCS RESET I hold it for a few seconds, I can activate the "Actuator Exerciser Mode" (NATOPS Flight Manual A1-F18AC-NFM-000, section2.8.2.4). The control surfaces then start moving for some time as intended, but the Xs are not cleared. Also when I again push FCS RESET, nothing is cleared. Also, during the BIT test, the ailerons are properly actuated, still the Xs won't clear.
  3. General information latest OpenBeta (Steam) as of today: 2.5.4.26552 DCS + F-18 + FC3 + Persian Gulf bug may happen on cold and dark startup of F-18 When doing a (simplified) ground power startup in this order, everything is ok (see Aileron_ok.trk): BATT on Intercom: Ground power on EXT PWR reset GND PWR 1, 2, 3, 4 ON [L/R]DDI set to DAY LDDI set to BIT page RDDI set to FCS page APU set to ON ENG CRANK set to R RIGHT THROTTLE to IDLE when RPM around 20% FCS RESET press Result: FCS page shows no Xs. When doing it in this order, the result is not ok (see Aileron_failure.trk): BATT on Intercom: Ground power on EXT PWR reset GND PWR 1, 2, 3, 4 ON [L/R]DDI set to DAY LDDI set to BIT page RDDI set to FCS page FCS RESET press (note that AIL cannot be cleared) APU set to ON ENG CRANK set to R RIGHT THROTTLE to IDLE when RPM around 20% Result: FCS page shows X for AIL on all FCS channels. This cannot be cleared by pressing FCS RESET, or even after complete power cycle. List of cautions shows "AIL OFF". Aileron_failure.trk Aileron_ok.trk Logs.zip DxDiag.txt
  4. The title pretty much sums it up. See the attached track file. Lazy RTB with mission failure. Latest stable version on Steam. Tacview-20190107-160637-DCS-S10 Birds of Prey.zip
  5. A few days ago ED announced that there's going to be an update for the A-10C in 2019. There are some long known bugs in the A-10C. Are these bugs going to be fixed in the update? E.g.: CCIP Gun Cross Occult is non-functional CDU DIM/BRT is non-functional nose illumination is missing formation lights illuminate the cockpit Does the update include a later Suite than the current one? Furthermore, the F/A-18C will be getting a modelled IFF system. Will then the A-10C also get an IFF? Would be awesome if Wags / NineLine could provide some insight!
  6. That's probably not steam compatible, is it? I'm running the steam version.
  7. Okay, thanks! When I switch between Open Beta and Stable, will I loose my campaign progress?
  8. Thanks for the quick reaction. Isn't it possible that the mission will also break in Stable, as soon as some more features from Open Beta get merged? So fixing it might still be a good idea?
  9. I'm currently playing OPF for the second time. In mission 8, where you have to protect the dam, one of the triggers doesn't work in the latest open beta version, but it works in the stable version. The problem occurs when you are anchoring at IP ZULU and copy the coordinates for sites DELTA and VICTOR. I get the comms for DELTA, but when I'm asked to confirm that I'm ready to copy information for VICTOR, the F10 option doesn't show up. I even waited a few minutes, and it still won't appear.
  10. Hey guys, I'm looking for an A-10C wingman or a squadron for regular flying / training / missions / having fun. I'm located in Germany. Communication in German or English is ok. I'm interested in at least medium realism flying, and I'm open for anything up to ultra-realism (though I'd prefer medium realism for now). I have ... 200 hours DCS / 100 hours A-10C experience TM HOTAS Warthog TM Rudder Pedals TrackIR 5 Pro only Caucasus map so far, but I can buy additional maps FC3 (if that matters) headset Cheers!
