Now i'm lost... You lose framerate in windowed mode or in fullscreen mode ? If you want to go dual monitors, with the abris and schval on the second screen, under vista, you have to play in windowed mode but you will lose fps ?

Is there a way to have it in windowed but maximized ? I play it fullscreen on my Vista installation could it impact my frame rates ?

l think we are misunderstanding each others :lol: :music_whistling::D I never finished mission one but for some reason it thinks I did. Now, I try to reset the campaign without changing pilots and it wont reset. I will try changing pilots, but I think it is a little bit overkill to have to change pilot in order to replay mission one because I suck and I keep hovering in range of those tanks :doh: Beside, I think it is now on mission 4 ?! Something about taking off from a FARP ?! I never did mission 2 or 3 but what happened is that, on the runway, realising I was not in the correct mission, I quited the game. That would be a bug :) Ho, and on mission one, the friends and ennemies field is the same. That is, Canada is listed has my friend and has my ennemie. But I figured out quickly who was the ennemy when the heat started comming my way :joystick:

What ? Why can't I reset the campaing ? It worked the first few times I did it. With the default campaign, I keep dying and I dont have to change pilots or restart the campaign. Is that a win condition you have put in.

I installed and started the campaing. Got shot down a couple of times on the first mission and at some point It deceided I passed it anyway ?! Didnt kill any tanks ! Anyway, now, even if I do restart campaign, I cant do first mission. any ideas ? And is there a way to re-read the mission briefing from the game ? Ho, and the fog is very nice on the first mission, but it was killing my fps until I reached an altitude of 200 meters.

DRM. Defective by freaking design. So what now ? I add a new hard-disk and starforce will eat one of my activations. suckers.

I dont know if it could be related but I had some strange issues while playing Fallout 3 with the guitar hero guitar plugged in. I supposed it was acting strange since fallout was designed for xbox and the guitar is an xbox controller .... but whatever, unplug everything except you mouse and keyboard. It solved a couple of my input issues in the past.

Dusty, I'm just starting the official campaing. Would you say yours is easier ? If that is the case, I might be interested to try it and get more pratice.

Just to clarify a bit and to make sure I didn't forgot or overlooked something in the trainings and notes, when you say zoom with the schval and zoom again, you are talking of the 2 zooms levels ? Hi guys, I started doing some instant action and joined a couple of multiplayer games and tried to rack up some kill before going farther in the campaign. However, i'm getting a hard-time identifying friends from foe. I search the manual for IFF, Idententify Friend or Foe and beside some references to my IFF switch ( which I alway turn on ) I cant seem determine who is a friend and who is not. I came accross that post "http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=37467&highlight=Identify+Friend+Or+Foe" but how can that help me identify a friendly KA-50 and a not firendly KA-50 ( just the ABRIS icon or there is something else ? ) Right now, I find that the georgians stuff just looks like the russian stuff. Spyda, I see from the first picture of you second post that you fligh with the night vision light switch on. Turn it off ;) You will be able to see through the HUD much better when that is off.

concrete example. Vista 32 bits or Xp 32 bits. The OS can only use 4 GB. But that also mean that if you have 4 GB of ram and a 1 GB graphic card, you OS only has access to 3 GB of ram. Sucks doesn't it ?

Good evening gents, I just started flying around, almost finished all the trainings and producer's note and I create a mission to test my knowledge. ( couple of waypoints, couple of targets, etc ). I tried to contact the ground crew, tower with no success ( Intercom and VHF-2 switch are on ). Did I miss something in the mission editor or did I miss something in my KA-50 radio settings ?:dunno: *EDIT* I just started my mission again, used the "Window-Key / Home" cheat start and still no radio-contact with tower. *EDIT*
