Yes, you can manually edit as a workaround.
Set these values to place bulls on the inner-german border, slightly east of Kassel:
["bullseye"] =
{
["y"] = -731137.56388645,
["x"] = -310331.58310001,
}, -- end of ["bullseye"](for each coalition respectively, of course)
I have attached a clean map with all airfields set to blue or red coalitions and above mentioned bullseye for your convenience.-

Razbam won't touch DCS unless a material change made in ED's management. The rest will follow suit when they also don't get paid.
Not to worry - the other 3rd party devs are being paid, since they don't breach their contractual agreements.

which are in the OPs original post, feels like nothings happening with it and we are just over at 4 in
There have been more than these, the latest is from July of this year, unless I am sorely mistaken. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2024-07-26/
This is DCS, everything takes long because everything is pretty complex. How is that news?-

Quote from Aug 8, 2020 newsletter:
"The DCS World Dynamic Campaign Engine combines a Real-Time Strategy (RTS) engine with military forces and economics layers (production, logistics, use and transfer of resources) that pitch two opposing sides aided by advanced strategic and tactical AI.We have now completed the core RTS logic and have connected it to DCS World. We are currently finalising the basics of the in-game economic models. We will be working on the combat tasking logic and certain win-win situations in the near future. The last stage will be the Client - Server architecture needed to support large campaigns with on-going online sessions.
We are certain that you will have many detailed questions and look forward to revealing more information on this module as and when we are in position to demonstrate some of the features live."
And Jan 9, 2021:
"This massive task has been underway for over two years, and the progress has been exciting. The campaign is built around a Real-Time Strategy (RTS) foundation that factors resources, zones of control, logistics, available forces, and a strategic decision-making system. While we believe internal testing will continue in the 1st quarter of 2021, it is too early to estimate a release date. However, external Beta testing is planned hopefully in Q2/Q3 2021."Well it's Q4 2024 and all I hear are crickets chirping . Has it been abandoned? Can we get an honest answer?
It has not been abandoned and various small updates about it can be found in the newsletters since 08/2020.

First of all, thank you very much!
But what date should I set the mission to get the GPS?
Anything later than 19940328

TBH the only thing that would make me happier than that, would be having never bought anything at all DCS related but, oh well, such is life.
Man, you guys really like to lay it on thick, right?

since the LAST update my fa-18 has constant gear damage from Almost every landing SOFT or HARD...and EVEN takeoffs now it is rediculas !! even my wingman friend has exact same issues!! NEVER had these issues before the update...Now it is CONSTANT...a GAME ender almost. WHEN will it be fixed??? like i said Even breaks on take off...so do not want to hear...GLIDE SLOPE etc.... ED broke Something on the UPDATE!
Post a track and we can tell you more. None of what you describe happens to me or the people I fly with, so unless you have a track for more detail no one will be able to help. Hint: ED didn't change a thing with the landing gear for a good while now.

Here's a track. Touchdown looks to be 1050fpm.
Touchdown weight was 34,364lbs.
Left gear damage.
For a GS of 3deg, at onspeed of 145knots, the decent rate is going to be close to 750fpm. Leaving not much margin for a gust of wind or downdraft in bad weather to take you over the 1000fpm, and consequent damage??
Case129.7z 3.86 MB · 3 downloads
F-18C unrestricted trap weight is 33.000 lbs - you are too heavy to begin with, and yes: coming in too heavy means little margin for errors.

gears keep breaking now 1 out of 3 landings..they did NOT do this before like this...why did they find the NEED to screw with the landing gear all of the suddon??????
Because the landing gear was pretty much impervious beforehand, which got rightfully fixed. Stay within acceptable limits and everything will work as intended.

ATFLIR when flying Navy or Marines off a carrier and LITENING when flying Marines off a land base, because LITENING is not carrier approved

I can't imagine ever flying without VR.
Are there people who have flown VR and stopped?Yeah, me - the wow-effect was gone in a few sessions and I was constantly annoyed with the rather low visual fidelity, much lower than on a quality screen. I was constantly angry about how <profanity>ty it looked, and I don't like being constantly angry about something so expensive.
I'll give it another try in a bit of time - it certainly is the way of the future, but it's not yet there for me, personally.-

Thought the TDC to control the Flir pod was Target Designated controller not throttle?
The TDC (or Throttle Designator Controller) is a control element ON the throttle. At this point you will have to decide how to control that element. With an axis or a button/x-way switch? The axis control is called Throttle Designator Controller - VERTICAL AXIS and HORIZONTAL AXIS that you may have to bind on your HOTAS, otherwise take a look at the same control in the non-axis controls of the F-18.

Sorry all. Not been about so just replying now.
New to all this, when i search for tdc under the dcs commands for the fa18c, i dont get any results. What else is this called or am i going mad lol
You can mouse over any switch and see it's exact name in the pop-up box that you then get. That name is what you are looking for in the controls config as well.

Where do you read "stable"? Only in download link as a leftover on the site.
As you said: in the download link, also in the update overview at https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/
At the end of the day: we got rid of two concurrent "stable" and "open beta" versions and I kinda don't care what it's actually called, so if you want to argue semantics: be my guest.-

Cannot download DCS Beta. No longer available?
The different versions have been discontinued with the last patch, there only is a unified version that is called "stable" now, starting with version 2.9.3.51704.

Agree, but they are constantly working on lesser priority bugs, like some minimal texture fixes or putting missing engine covers on AI planes when parking, instead of fixing an instrument that cant do what its designed to do, that whats bothers me.
You don't know if the 3D artist who works on textures and covers is even capable of fixing the map display on certain scales, nor do you know if it's ED only, Ugra Media only or needs both and how their respective resources are stretched.
Just as a general idea: being bothered about bugs in DCS doesn't really help you or the devs. Report bugs, lean back and enjoy everything else and wait - there's nothing else that really makes sense.

Yea, just a basic aircraft functionality been broken for 3 years. All good
Yeah, between all the stuff that is not yet implemented and/or a bit broken that is "all good". Now that the FM changes are in chances are good that Ugra Media and/or ED will work their way down to lesser priority bugs.
-
Yeah, it is pretty irrelevant, honestly. It will be fixed at some point, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter, tbqh.

After latest update, it is become impossible to catch E-bracet during landing. Also, it is become impossible to hold aircraft on speed doing only throttle inputs. You need constantly correct aircraft vertically with a stick.
I'm sure everyone is able to recreate this.
Nope, spent several hours doing Case I landings without issues in getting the bird onspeed

thanks but is it possible to obtain the red protective covering and the various pins and the ladder? or when the engine is turned off the various protections are not applied and the pilot remains in the cockpit
Negative, at this moment only the AI has said covers and the ladder

Dude. It's the first Early Access. Bullseye will be fixed by the devs in due time, up to that point you can take up my coordinates for a miz file or simply use the provided .miz as a workaround. Chill.
