So, am I understanding right that without a half depress moving the HCU actually doesn't do a thing? Just kinda wondering how to map it exactly, since my stick doesn't have a two-stage trigger. :)

I think is not easy as it look, this thing is gonna be a long and hard work if it's done a day, I'm more thinking about flying as Rio for a friend, it's very easy to found a free pilot, more than finding a free Rio I think ;)

 

I'm not sure about that, I am *itching* to finally be able to be a RIO and I know a few folks that specifically got into DCS for this only.

Oh I have a buddy lined up, hell I have 2 lined up who want to be pilots. The only issue is I work shifts and they work standard days, so we are only online at the same time on a wed evening every other week.

 

I think you will be able to hook up with a lot of pilots online... what are your shifts, actually? I am working regular work days and am usually available after 6pm CET :)

Will there be a new section in the manual for the SA and D/L functions? I reckon it´s alot more to learn than we had to until now... And for that i´d like to have some instructions on paper rather than watching the video again and again... ;-)

I'm *so* taking a few days off once it's released!

While not specifically only for DCS, I upgraded my rig. It was time, my old CPU was literally the first series of Core i5 :)

 

So, now it's an i7-9700K, RTX 2080, 32 GB RAM, 500 GB Samsung 970 in addition to my old 1 TB 950, X56 Hotas, TrackIR... it's marvelous, so looking forward to the F-14 now :D
