Hello all,
I'm a newbie to DCS, not to flight sims though. Around 10 years ago i used to play FSX although my usual aircrafts of choice were the PMDG 747 and MD-11. Work started to take over and my flight time got less and less so eventually sold my yoke and pedals. Then got rid of my FSX and the aircrafy too.
In October last year i stumped up and bought a HOTAS Warthog and some rudder pedals. Also bought the Hornet, but primarily, as a 80s child it was the Tomcat that swung my decision to finally invest.
The Hornet is great, very in depth like the PMDGs i was used to i'm learning a lot about flying and navigating it however, it's a filler until the real deal releases in the next few weeks
My carrier landings are far from perfect, quite a long way actually but with each pass i get a little better.
I have however developed a rather odd problem. When i catch a wire in the Hornet i'll come to a stop then the nose goes skyward... very baffling. I haven't seen it on any other videos but it happens almost every trap.
Can anyone give any advice on why it happens and how to stop it please?
