  1. Maybe. I've already installed SRS, but I've never flown in a Multiplayer Session yet. So I don't know how it sounds in a Multiplayer Session. From the Audio Test in the Client Setup Dialogue I would expect that SRS transfers my Voice "loud and clear", like any other IP-Phone Application (i.e like Teamspeak), and not in this "low Bandwith" Sound. What I mean is for Example in at around 7:00
  2. Ok yes, the Radio Menu is visible in VR. Haven't seen this yet, because I wanted to use Voice Attack, and therefore never used the Communications main Key ("/", or in my Case "#") while in VR. What helped me a lot was this Page in Wikipedia about "Brevity Codes". I never heard this Term before, but now most of the Communication Options in DCS and Voice Commands in VAICOM make Sense for me.
  3. OK, here's a Newbie Question: I lately saw a couple of Multiplayer Streaming Videos from DCS on Twitch and Youtube. In these Videos the Players (or at least the Player that was streaming his Session) used some kind of Voice Chat, where the Players Voices sounded more or less like real "low-bandwith" Radio Transmissions, and I had the Impression that also the Sound Quality varied between different Radio Stations. What's this Software, Plugin or Mod?
  4. I am also a Newbie in DCS World, using an Oculus Rift for VR, with one Hand Controller and the Mouse to operate the Cockpit. So far so good, but I am struggling with the in Game Communication in VR. I already bought VoiceAttack and VAICOM Pro, but despite the fact, that these programs add another Level of Complexity to a Newbie User (VAICOM Pro needs a couple of additional Joystick Mappings for up to six Com Devices), without already knowing all the Phrases used in Military Flight Simulation these Programs are more or less useless for me at the Moment (What the Heck are "Darkstar" and "Crystal Palace"?). I would need the hints from the on Screen Communication Menus, but I can't see them in VR. Therefore I haven't found a good Solution for Communication in VR yet.
  5. When I started with my new F-14 a couple of weeks ago, I assigned nosewheel steering to the pinkie button of my X-52 Pro (BTN 6). I did that directly in DCS, I'm not using any Logitech Profiler profiles with my Joystick. But now suddenly nosewheel steering or whatever I may assign to the pinkie button of my stick doesn't show any effect in DCS world, doesn't matter in which aircraft. In the Windows 10 game controller setup the button works, in DCS I can assign functionality to this button by pressing it in the configuration menu (so its recognized even in DCS World), but whatever I assign to this button shows no effect in the game. I have "clutch mode" switched off in the Windows Game Controller Settings for the HOTAS X-52,and I can't remember what may have been changed since the button once worked in DCS. Any Ideas why the Pinkie Button won't work anymore (only) in DCS World? EDIT: Even when I assign the Pinkie Button together with a modification Button it works in DCS. It just doesn't work when assigned as a single button.
  6. I can't get VAICOM Pro to work Sorry, but I can't get VAICOM Pro to work. I've read through the manual, watched the tutorial video, but VAICOM won't work for me. Plain vanilla VA works fine with my own profiles. I then installed the VAICOM and VAICOM Chatter Plugins (but left the AIRIO plugin out for now). For a first test I hopped into my F14 standing cold & dark on an airfield. First thing would be to attach ground power. So I tried TX1, TX4 and TX5 one after another with the voice command "Chief, Ground Power ON". This command obviously is recognized from VA, but nothing happens in DCS. I also tried several other commands, i.e. request to taxi whith engies running, but there is never any response in DCS. Please see the attached screenshot vom VA that clearly shows that VAICOM has been initialized, and my command has been received via TX1. What am I missing?
