  1. My Rift still works with WIN 8.1 - the error message can be ignored. The error window cannot be closed though, it keeps on popping up. Support end does not mean the Oculus software stops working. It just means that Oculus will no longer guarantee it will work flawlessly in the future.
  2. I can confirm your observations. In level flight at 80 - 90 knots the real UH-1 actually needs some right pedal, not left pedal. Alexander “PilotMi8” Podvoyskiy himself experienced that when he had the opportunity to fly a real Huey at the Dillon Aero company in Arizona. In the past the DCS Huey had always been neutral in the pedals at level flight (without wind effects). Which I could live with. But I am fairly sure that in the past the trimball at least stayed in the centre position in such a flight situation. At the moment complying with the trimball at level flight leads to a crab flight. ED really should look into the trimball behavior - there is something wrong with it.
  3. As far as I know the wire strike protection system (WSPS) on the Huey consists of 4 components: -upper cutter -lower cutter -windshield center post deflector -2 windshield wiper shaft deflectors (left and right) In DCS the wire strike protection system is inconsistently displayed for the Huey: When it is activated (by choosing the hardpoints) everything is fine. When it is deactivated, then the windshield wiper shaft deflectors together with the windshield center post deflector stay visible. They are actually persistent. Only the upper and lower cutter disappear. I’m not a rivet counter - but since we are not allowed to switch the WSPS on and off as a single feature it would be nice if we could get at least a consistent on/off option together with the weapon hardpoints. Since the bugs on the Huey will be resolved soon: Please don't forget about the wire cutters!
