  1. I should but I probably accidently cleaned out my mail. My fault but you don't think about it as everyone just about provides retrieval services. The thought is that if you provide a license, you should be able to retrieve it from where you bought it. I guess Vaicom is a one off not caught up with the modern world and I'm an idiot for deleting the email.
  2. Yep. Computer died and cannot retrieve and I'm not buying again. Funny I was able to retrieve my VA key. LAME Support
  3. Had the same issue. Had to ensure it was in the VAICOM profile: *Salute*; Seems to fixed it for me but have another issue. When calling "Roosevelt: Inbound" I get told to go to alternate? If I use the DCS menu, I get a hand off to Tower. Confused
  4. I downloaded from their website. Support section I believe. There are a few how to videos on YouTube that will help get you going with firmware and axis calibration. Once you save your profile, you’ll see it in DCS. Regards.
  5. I received my Virpil gear yesterday after waiting about 9 business days - to the east coast. Surprised at how quickly it came, especially considering it was Memorial Day weekend so very nice job there Virpil. Package arrived in good condition. No tears or tatters and everything was packed extremely well. It took me about 30 minutes to get the stick set up. I was able to flash the firmware and center the stick easily. From there, I worked on getting my mappings set up for the F18. The one thing I was worried about when configuring the new set up was the X52 throttle's interaction with the CM50. I used shift states with the old X52 stick but was pleased to find that I could set up the CM50 in the same way. The plan is to pick up a Virpil throttle once back in stock. PLEASE Virpil, make more! The setup feels great in flight. I can compare it to the feel of flying a real T-34. (the only stick plane I've flown). The pressure feels right and I found it very accurate. With the F18, the stick felt very nice in the hand. During formation flight, I found that light movements kept me in place. Very different from the X52 which would stick during light movements. Overall, extremely happy with this setup and I'm looking forward to putting more hours on it. Regards, H
  6. I had this problem and finally narrowed down something weird going on between my 2080 and Oculus. Reformatted the drive and moved DCS to a SSD seemed to help but everything cleared up when I installed the cards utility software. I guess not just having the Nvidia drivers was enough? Before I boot into DCS, I ensure that that software is running and am able to run high graphics settings in DCS. May not help but thought I would throw it out there. Regards
  7. After reboot and opening Oculus it works. No blackscreen. Close Oculus and reopen, blackscreen. Damn Beta reboot 2 times fixes.
  8. Did not fix my black screen after closing oculus :( Had to do the beta > reboot Oculus 3 times to get it back. Edit: I did unplug the USB port and plugged it back in and now it seems to work like it should. I can close Oculus and restart the app and not get the blackscreen. I think the bug has something to do with the passthrough feature. Noticed on one of the USB Card ports that it was all static. Motherboard USB port works fine. Going to reboot and try to get it to fail again. Hope it's fixed.
  9. Just got a firmware push and device driver update from Oculus. Seeing if it will load/work now. DCS is very slow to load.
