While the reality was often tragic, I hope we can get some of these quirky dangerous planes. More fun to fly something that fights back imo. (F104 plz :joystick:).

I have this problem was well, but not specific to the Mirage. Seems that (at least when using quick mission) GC only responds on the first mission. If I go to menu and start up again, GC almost never responds. I've just gotten used to exiting and restarting the game every mission to keep stuff working.

Sounds to me like you are doing things correctly - my impression is that they are not terribly reliable being so old. Just to confirm, I'm assuming you are always firing from behind the target? (They are rear aspect only, won't event track an oncoming or flanking target.) I have pretty good luck firing from ~1.6-3 KM, and hit probably 80% of the time, but this is against AI F4's that don't go particularly evasive. Against aggressively maneuvering targets I just stick to pew pew.

Welcome aboard. Plan on picking this up at some point, really neat little plane, and it looks like you did a great job.
