  1. Alright so I have found the answer to my question. Apparently this functionality was removed as it was deemed as not correct per the real aircraft, however real documentation begs to differ insofar as the bis variant.
  2. Hi, I have no waypoint or radio tab in the mission editor for the Mig-15. V 2.9, no mods. It appears the option has been removed, its there for other aircraft. How am I supposed to program in the NDBs?
  3. Ok problem fixed, never even thought of looking in FF assignment settings. Thanks again draconus, was driving me nuts flying around like a yoyo
  4. Thank you draconus, will go into it a bit later and apply that fix and let you know how I went!
  5. Ok so I have done a cleanup and full repair in slo-mo, re-checked key bindings and yet the problem still persists. Pic of Mig-21 with full forward trim applied so that you can see the deflection on the ailerons. Anyone here got a clue or is this a bug?
  6. I have been having an issue with elevator trim since doing the latest DCS World update. Have checked for any key conflicts though I have not really changed anything recently with my setup and it always worked fine before. The issue is that elevator trim is being applied to the ailerons, problem is with the Mig-21 as well as the Mig-15, have not had time to check all my other planes but I assume it is across the board.
  7. Fixed the problem by re-setting up my rift s.
  8. Well when or if their brain interface comes out we may soon be regcleaning our minds too.
  9. Hmm yes, that was going to be my next suggestion. Been there myself recently, registry and all. Oculus is a pitfa, have never had so many problems with a piece of hardware in my life.
  10. I was doing that Mikey and it doesn't cause me that problem when doing so now. The reason I realized it came down to the controllers in my case is that if I quickly moved the mouse cursor I could see another dot underneath it, so in effect there was two cursor dots one on top of each other.
  11. The last step of the install installs microsoft server speech recognition language runtimes, it might be a problem with that. Uninstall OTT and the runtimes, reboot, try again, if no go uninstall OTT and the runtimes again, reboot and download the US microsoft server speech recognition language runtime file and install that first, reboot and then try installing OTT. https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=27224
  12. Have you tried downloading OTT again? Might have gotten corrupted.
  13. Hmm might try setting room boundaries again myself. I must say I have't had so may problems and quirks with hardware in a looooong time now that I got this rift. Last time I worked so feverishly in resolving issues was back in the DOS days trying to get games to run, but then again when they were sorted out they were sorted out. With this thing its like every day brings out a new issue. Initially I had a big problem with the usb. I'd plug it into one of my many usb pcie cards and it would work, next time it didn't, not sure how many times I had to root around changing ports. For some strange reason its been working for days on end without issue plugged into the card that it absolutely refused to work on when I first installed it.
  14. Being a Mig-15 fan and having hundreds of sim hours on it I would buy the Mig-17 in a flash.
  15. Glad your fix was that easy, I have restarted it a few times but its still the same. Was working fine before. Hoping it will just fix itself as at the moment I don't have a clue what to do about it lol
  16. Yes I tried that several times but no joy - actually it did nothing at all.
  17. Had this problem for the last few days that I could not get into DCS in VR, the mouse cursor seemed to be stuck on the bottom right corner and would not move into the DCS main screen. Clicking the mouse button would cause DCS music to stop and cursor would appear but when I tried to click on something like aircraft selection music would come back on and cursor would disappear again. Slept on the problem for a couple of nights and concluded that it must be something with the rift hand controllers which by the way I don't use and have disabled in the VR options and yes the use mouse option was on too. What I did was removed the batteries, re inserted them and re-paired the hand controllers, problem solved. Hope this helps someone with the same issue.
  18. For some reason when I move my head in to get a closer look at switches or gauges it moves the whole cockpit. Any ideas on how to fix this? Using Oculus Rift S.
  19. Found the problem though I have no idea why or how it occurred and why the problem started with installing Oculus Rift S. The following was in my DCS log file: 2019-06-15 17:13:03.578 ALERT SOUND: Can't start XAudio2. 2019-06-15 17:13:03.578 ERROR SOUND: render init failed I re-installed DirectX and I got sound back in DCS. Had no issues with sound on my other games :noexpression:
  20. Ever since installing my rift s a couple of days ago I have been unable to get sound out of my speakers in DCS. I have turned off sound for VR headset in DCS and also have sound off for it in the oculus software. I am not getting any sound out of speakers in DCS whether I am in VR or not. The oculus rift seems to have taken over DCS. I have my normal sound device enabled in windows and there's no issues there. Have read some posts on the forum regarding this issue but have been unable to solve mine. Any help appreciated, thanks.
