  1. Hi, I'm getting this error when the application attempt to launch: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions I've seen it mentioned a few times here, but there seems to be no apparent solution. Which ports does SSA use, that I can try to identify other applications using the same ones? I can see that it manages to open UDP ports 29375 and 56721 before crashing.
  2. I only use Microsoft Defender. Do the installers produce a log somewhere?
  3. That was 2.4.0 this time around. It concerns all files. It doesn't even create the folder in "Program Files". Specifically, I change the path from "C:\Program Files (x86)\SimShaker\SimShaker for Aviators" to "C:\Program Files\SimShaker for Aviators", and it gets placed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\SimShaker for Aviators", so it does seem to at least accept the changed value. (without the extra SimShaker folder) Actually, I think I have the same issue with the installers for the other SimShaker products, too.
  4. I think I've had this issue before, but when I change the install path to "Program Files" rather than "Program Files (x86)", it still puts the files in x86, and as a result the start menu shortcut does not work.
  5. Hi, A few questions. Are there any plans to allow for dynamic control of output channels, or perhaps some utility that can convert or rename all the samples as desired? How does the Microsoft account license binding work? How does it detect my account? I have the option available, but I don't log in to Windows using a Microsoft account. I do use it for some applications, however. Are there any plans to implement OAuth or something instead? Lastly, tying in to the above; I've not had any issues so far, but the activation process is a manual one, correct? If you for any reason are unable to reply, my license is effectively useless should I buy a new PC, is it not? Especially in times like these, I don't feel great about it. If I use the Microsoft account option (which I'm still not crazy about), will I be able to automatically activate my product in the future, on any new hardware, without manual intervention? I completely respect your copyrights, but frankly, I think your DRM implementation is unnecessary.
  6. Hi, Is 2.2.0 the latest stable version? I can't find anything outside the Previous versions folder here: https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=!ABzEH5Hl-uswPrQ&id=AAE14DA560024F57!111&cid=AAE14DA560024F57
  7. SSA reads DCS telemetry and outputs to JetSeat and similar USB devices. The sound module takes that same telemetry and instead outputs to regular audio output devices.
  8. Is there anything one could do to help you implement support for a certain mod?
  9. Hi, I've got Sound Module 2.20 installed, and when I enable 5.1 output I get the following message: NaudioPlaybackEngine 6 ch: could not initialize playback device.ASIO Driver open Failure! I have ASIO4ALL 2.14 installed. Also, I noticed in the SimShaker Wings description, it says the transducer virtual positions can be configured, while the Sound Module description makes no such mention. If possible, I would like to set up my third and fourth transducers as.. I guess center. (or center and front, if possible)
  10. Could you not have done this while keeping the metal casing, though?
  11. Why you need a sturdy metal case to protect said inside. :)
  12. No, we have not. You seem to be ignoring the answers provided to you. Take your monitor. Now get your face to an inch in front of it. What happens to the perceived resolution?
