I have the same issue since i added the CJS. Im about to remove it until it's updated. The CJS feels also too big for the supercarrier, and also the new deck crew start acting funny with this AC.

My issue isn't really with a lack of response. It's the fact that there have been so many airfield issues with Sinai since launch (granted, some have been fixed), and this is a pretty major one (making an entire airfield unusable) and still hasn't been fixed so many months after being identified. Unlike some of the other airfield problems on Sinai, this one shouldn't require any extensive remodelling. I'd really like to have Nevatim usable.

Guess what !
After the USS Ford, now the USS aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman visits Oslo after undertaking NATO exercises.
The carrier has just taken part in NATO exercises in the North Sea and is accompanied by an American cruiser and an Italian frigate. According to the Norwegian Armed Forces, the stay in Oslo and Norway underscores the importance to the US of stability and security in northern Europe. It shows that NATO is ready to defend itself and that we stand together.

Hi Admiral Sir, thanks for your response. I have indeed added some other countries already to the line. I have been working on a mission for a while, which includes most of your ships.
Also am glad to see you love our short to middle range dutch LCF, which is a air defence and command fregat that uses the LAMS (Local Area Missle System) and can scan a area of 200 miles using a SMART-L radar system.

Hey RWC, happy to hear you worked it out. I try to keep the names as close as possible because it brings on conflicts. That's another issue I see. Wrong name spelling is another reason why mods don't appear in the game as well. --- You know RWC there's a livery # or name we can use to remove certain textures on a mod which would be much easier than creating two separate mods. That way I can just create two Lua files vice two shape files. I need to find it though but I know it's possible.
Honestly, I didn't think there would be much interest in the Suspect/Rogue ship. Happy to hear you all play with it. I will create a new one but much smaller. I have the perfect vessel in mind.
Hi Admiral Sir, thanks for the response. I actually love this vessel, since it ships actual visible weaponry, instead of just cargo or containers. It is the ONLY vessel available that does ! I was actually having the same thoughts. Still, it would be greater if we could use both types in the same convoy.

CRUD, you're right the Tarantul Corvette has stopped working in DCS. ED has probably updated their weapons code which caused the existing code to stop working. Whenever a mod doesn't appear in DCS. The first thing I do is disable all the weapons and or a few weapons and that helps me determine sometimes where the problem lies. --- CRUD, I have all new USCGC mods. To include the Island, Sentinel-class, and new small patrol boats including a new USCG Response boat so there coming. Maybe one month i will just create all small patrol boats.
99% of the time when a mod doesn't appear in DCS it's usually because of the weapons code at least that's what I see. So I disabled all the weapons in the Tarantul mod files and it appeared in DCS. So I need to rework the weapon code on the Tarantul mod. With that said, I will bring it into the shipyard and work on her. Thanks again CRUD.
--- Concerning the Italian Fleet. For some reason, the hull numbers on the FREMM are blurry when looking at them from a distance in DCS. Once completed, I will release them. Sorry, it's taking a while but it seems Medical appointments have become my part-time job and I'm not getting paid for them.
--- On another note. Thank you all for your continued interest in the mods. Otherwise, I probably would have stopped creating mods by now due to the ongoing health issues but as long as you all have an interest the more AI DCS Ship mods I will create. The Horizon Class Missile Frigates are next in line.

Thanks for responding. I actually solved the issue already. The issue with the new 103 version was simply because in the ship's LUA file, line 87 GT Countries, was blanked out. So the ship was nowhere to be found once loaded into DCS. ( LOG: 2024-10-06 07:10:06.799 ALERT Scripting (Main): loadfile: [string "C:\Users\*\Saved Games\DCS\Mods/tech/Rebel Ship Oscar 1.0.3..."]:87: unexpected symbol near '-' referring to line 87 >> - GT.Countries = line. So i removed the -, and there she was.
Also, the change in the GT DisplayName (V 102 >>GT.DisplayName = "Rebel_Ship_Oscar" // V 103 GT.DisplayName = _("[CIV] Rebel_Ship_Oscar"), caused created missions with the V 102 name not to load, simply because it could not find the new GT name that changed.
So i guess it's just worth mentioning when updating a vessel, to just keep the GT names the same, if possible.
Request : The previous version had the missiles uncovered, and the new version has them covered.
Is it possible to add both versions as liveries ?

Following up on the updates is vital, as the user experience improves with each update fixing bugs and graphics with each update. This goes as well for all the mods that are created, which leaves a lot of work to do for those who create mods for DCS, and have to improve the mod with each update as well. If the mod creators do not follow up on the updates , some of the mods will stop working with the current DCS version.

I have updated all of CH his assets and they are working fine. It is for sure older mods, dating from 2021/2022 that are causing issues on the updated DCS version, but CH models is not one of them. Try removing all the older mods from your saved games in to a temp folder, leaving the newer ones in place, and start adding the old one by one. >You will find the problem mod this way.

Hi Admiral Sir,
As always, I do not wish to cause any fuzz, but the updated Rebel ship v 1.03 seems to have an issue causing DCS graphics to stop loading. This was the only new thing i added, and after adding this update, all DCS stopped loading. Executing the update by overwriting i did, same result. Extracting it as a single file, same result. Then I removed the new version and dropped in the old version again to see if this would help, and all worked fine again.
I wonder if you could check on this matter.

Weird that it won't recognize the folder I titled "Saved Games" in my external drive when it's always worked just fine before. I tried to move the location of the actual Saved Games folder like you suggested, only to realize that the actual folder is NOWHERE to be found. What the actual <profanity>.
P.S. I just looked into this whole OneDrive thing and it's extremely sketchy. <profanity> Microsoft, seriously.

Your 'hah' is uncalled for and you are totally missing the point here.
Simply was referring to a mod many use from the Questa brothes, the Rafale, where they have the meteor installed...... as an example !
But since they could not find a solution for this problem, i just wanted to drop the question to CH, since he managed to solve a lot of issues with missiles for most of our current used mods. He is the most experienced modder I know on here. Maybe he knows how to create a weapons Lua or bomb table, where we can keep or combine foreign type of missiles.
Hope you understand it more clearly. It is a fair question to ask him, i think.

Hi friends, I just want to put out a common request to all modders out there.
As you all know, a lot of mods are having their own weapons and bomb table. Most of the mods are replacing the standard missiles or bombs.
The DCS base weapons loadout are all US-type or RUS-type and are applied to all aircraft (AIM-120C <> AIM-120D / AIM-9 <>PYTHONS, etc.), no matter what country they are from.
But what about the countries with their own type of missiles, for example the MICA or the METEOR from France ?
You can't have one without the other, it seems.
Is there anyone out there who can create a LUA or table that will hold all missiles and NOT remove or replace the standard ones, so we can make our own choice in loadouts without losing the standard ones ?

I am stunned by these prices, but I will donate some again today, what I can. It won't be enough, since I don't have a large budget myself. Is it possible to add a genuine Turkish combat helicopter to your Turkish pack ? It would be a great add-on to the Syria map usage.

Hi Developers,
Is there any way possible to have the AI planes rollout longer on the runway ???
It seems so unreal, seeing landing aircraft coming to a full stop before the first runway exit. The rollout length needs adjustment for the different types of aircraft with different weight classes.
At least using minimum halfway the runway length !

I was just about to post the same request !
Nowhere in Turkey there are parking spots for AI heavy cargo aircraft like the 747 or the C-5 Galaxy ! But in fact they HAVE parking spots for these aircraft in real life.
Currently, the largest aircraft to land on Incirlik AFB is the KC-10 !
DCS ..... please upgrade or add parking spots for heavy transports in the updates !!!

Would like to request some Turkish Naval ships added to the Turkish assets pack. Most already use the base model, like the Perry-class and the MEKO- class.
