  1. I updated to 2.9.10.3948 on Dec. 5th, since then, I can't remove the wheel chocks whenever I have a cold start on the super-carrier. I was playing the same missions just two days ago, so there is no other variable than the last update. To be exact, here is what happens: 1. Mission starts as normal in cold state 2. I instruct the ground crew to remove wheel chocks (either before, during,or after the startup) 3. I get the response from the ground crew as follows: "unable to comply air source isn't connected" I tried connecting air-supply to check if the behavior changes, but nothing. Track attached. 2. I was wondering if there is any way to assign different actions to the units of the same group. For example, I have one bomber group with three B52s, and I want to assign each unit with a carpet bombing action to bomb different locations within the same vicinity. Can you do that in the mission editor? There is a work around to creat 3 different groups and have them fly together until they break on target, but having one group is much more elegant!
  3. Folk, any idea how to get the option "attack map object" to work? I am planning a mission on the editor with an AI F18 set to "Ground Attack" and want this aircraft to attack an object on the ground. So I set the aircraft to ground attack, added a waypoint option of "attack map object" from WP1, and placed that little triangle on a building that I added from the static objects menu, the AI aircraft then completely ignored the task and proceeded directly from WP 1 to WP 2. So I changed the object to an actual map building using "assign as" with quad zone as zone type, then changed it again to a map bridge—same AI behavior. I can get this to work using bombing instead of "attack map object". But I am really curious on how to get this option to work. Thanks! Actions Editor Trials.miz
  4. Hello guys, in mission 10 I'm trying to complete the optional objective of the AAR before strike, but the communication button isn't activated so there is no way to call ready for pre-contact. And there are 2 tankers too! no Idea why. The button of radio call "ready pre contact" also isn't functioning Anyone knows a work around? HINT: I know I will have sufficient fuel, but I want to complete the optional objective anyway
  5. It's solved, I had to disable the OvGME profile and then create a folder in side the aircraft then past the files inside it Thanks for your help
  6. Hi Rudel, Thanks for your answer, appreciate your help. sadly it still doesn't work, I've changed the letter to lower case but still can't see it in my module manager. couple of snapshot below, maybe I'm doing something wrong!
  7. Guys I would very much appreciate any guidance here, I am having a problem to get the mod to work. As in the instructions I extract the rar file in the following ''C:\Users\xxxxxx\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\Aircraft''. but it doesn't get recognized by DCS at all, any thoughts? should I create any other folders or restructure the mode in different way? I referred to the readme text file too but unfortunately with little success. I am running the open beta 2.7 version. same problem in the stable 2.5.6 version Thanks!
  8. Thanks all, really appreciate your help. I think I have a good idea now where to start.
  9. Het guys, I wonder if any experienced DCS simmer could help me out here. I am a long time Flight simmer and considering switching to DCS now, can you give me an idea which modules or add-ons I will have to buy besides the F-18 to be able to play ground missions and air to air combat? My scope as said is to play ground missions including sam and AAA sites engagements as well as air to air combat including carriers (the usual stuff!) Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
