One month ago i turn up my system and when come back the pc stuck with that message.i hold down the power and boot up again and same thing.so unplugged the pc from the surge protector replug it and everything worked again,,,i dont get any restarts or freezes worked just great so after a whole month the same message appears only this time i press the power and didint start at first so i press it and starts with the same message..so i did the same thing only this time i open the case ensure that every cable was well put in i clear all the dust and replace the surge protector with an apc new one. and everything works as it should no problem so far nothing any ideas why is this happening? my psu is an seasonic mk12 ii 850 watt bronze series i have it 1 and a half years pretty stable and i check the voltages with the HW monitor the voltages is 12v- 12.096-12.192 3.3v- 3.344-3.360

  18. so its nothing? i always turn the pc on with the case power button the reason that i switch the power switch back from the psu it was just for safety
  19. Hi all, After shutting down Windows I always flick the switch off on the power supply, so that the computer is completely 'off'. In the last week or so, every time I turn the computer on by the back switch there is a loud 'pop' sound that seems to come from the POWER SWITCH I then turn on the computer by the case power button and all seems well. Everything seems to be working normally, I was just wondering what might be causing this popping sound? Should I be concerned? Could it be a sign that the power supply could be failing? AS FOR NOW I HAVE IT ALL THE TIME TO THE ON POSITION AND CLOSE BY THE MAINS {UPS-SERGE PROTECTOR)NO POP SOUND IT ONLY HAPPENS WHENE I USE THE SWITCH OF THE PSU ITSELF
