I expected everything but this fighter. They got me! That is just brilliant! As a lot of nations will get this fighter, I’m 100% sure I will buy it if it looks close to FF module! But F-35 is no Naval version, I will definitely miss carrier operation with this module… If the module release date is delayed, this will just add realism to the F-35 .

Thank you for the link. Eagle Dynamics has its reasons. I don’t agree with it, but I have to respect it!

Dear DCS I completely missed the announcement that the hornet left early access. I check every Fridays News, somehow I missed that! Can someone send me the link to it? I will celebrate this properly. Somehow I feel this news went low profile… but this module is my top 1!!!

Thanks a lot. That is exactly what I needed to know. i will stay with the Quest 2 then.

Dear all I try to get some information on the internet and this forum. Yet, I never found a clear answer to this question: Is there a noticeable improvement of the handtracking in DCS between Quest2 and Quest3? In other words, if I have a Quest2 and I only need better handtracking in DCS, is it worthy to buy a Quest3?

AH-64D how to play with a friend without « port forwarding »
Flanky83 replied to Flanky83's topic in DCS: AH-64D
Some update on my side. I spend several hours with some expert from support. It turned out, I have a dedicated public address. It’s not shared. So all should be ok. We tried port forwarding the port 10308, but all checks done on portchecker.co/checking showed that the port is closed. They didn’t understand it, and told me that the port is open. Now I got it. Of course the port is closed. The port is only existing when I create a multiplayer server. I learned a lot during this exercise! Best training ever! I’m sorry for it. All is good! Now: “get to the Choppaaaa” -

They upgraded my router to IPv6. I will try with this. Crossing fingers because I already bought the AH-64… -

Thanks a lot for the answer. I expected more people in the same situation than me, but maybe I did something wrong. Do you have a website to check the port was forwarded? In the worst case, I will indeed use an empty training server! Thanks for the info. -
AH-64D how to play with a friend without « port forwarding »
Flanky83 replied to Flanky83's topic in DCS: AH-64D
I have to admit that I don’t fully understand yet the “port forwarding”, but we called our internet provider and got the confirmation that we cannot port forward. So hosting is not an option. -
Dear all I want to offer the DCS Apache to a friend. As this is a multicrew aircraft, the idea was to play/traine together, always on the apache in multiplayer. Now we tried the first option, which is to host a serveur. This is not possible as both of our routers cannot « port forward »(public IP only). I’m now unsure what other options we have to train/fly together in the same Apache online. Is someone in the same situation and found a workaround?

feedback Raven One Campaign Review / Feedback
Flanky83 replied to jmarso's topic in F/A-18C Raven One Campaign
I finished the campaign yesterday. I found this campaign very good. I learned a lot and enjoyed it. There are here and there some bugs, but a lot less than in Enemy Within 3.0. I found this campaign also a lot easier than the A-10 Enemy within 3.0. Thanks! -
How I manage to finish the mission: When the mission starts, just stay on course(not in afterburner), let Weed do the Job. Take altitude to increase the range of the Aim-120 . When you see a 29 on your EW, turn 180° and use your Aim-120 to kill him. Evade his missile. You maybe need to kill one remaining F-4. With this, the mission’s difficulty changes from impossible to easy. The air to air refueling is easy .
