In the Mi-8 campaign, I can't communicate with the tower. The right freq is selected (Beslan 141.00), both the pilot and copilots radio is set to "radio", and the selector FM/AM I set to AM. But then I push the "/" on my keyboard, it says INTERPHONE in the radiomenu and not R-863. What do I miss?

I have never flown a Mirage 2000 or other fighter aircraft in my real life, and I think no one of you either have.... Well the Mirage have FBW, but i am still wondering how stabile it is in fx landing approachs. Airbus have also had FBW in long time, but then an Airbus pilot try to land the aircraft, he makes a lot of corrections all the way down to the tarmac. As somebody says, the F-16 also have FBW, but my experience from Falcon BMS 4.0, the Falcon isn't that stabile as the Mirage. I think the BMS F-16 is more realistic. In a final approach in crosswind, the aircraft is drifting a lot to a side, away from the direction the wind comes from. Normally the pilot have to lean the aircraft up to the wind, but I don't feel you have to do it in the Mirage. Tried to find Youtube clips with Mirage landings, but didn't find any good ones, but found a few F-16 landings, and here the aircraft make small corrections the way down, as I think the RAZBAM Mirage should do as well, but I think miss. It is opinion, but as I said in the beginning, I am not a real life fighter pilot...

I am just begun to fly the Mirage, but there is something which disapoint me at first. The flight behavier. It feels like it fly like an arkade game, too easy to fly. If you come from the A-10 and especially from the MIG-21, it is all too easy to takeoff and land the Mirage. I don't know about the behavier in dogfight etc, but I love landings, especially in bad conditions, but with the Mirage, you can't almost do any thing wrong. Am I right?

display errors after Win10 update
Owl replied to Owl's topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
Got it! Thank you BIGNEWY. Found the stereoscopic 3d menu in NVidia controlpanel and unchecked it. It must have come in the update to Win10, because, I have for sure not changed it.... Thank you very much for the fast and great advise. I had never found the solution by my self. -
display errors after Win10 update
Owl replied to Owl's topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
Thanks for the reply. Any suggestion where to look? I haven't changed anything (not that I know). 3D, is it something coming with Win10? I have to remember to say I'm using DCS 1.5.3 -
Hello! I have just updated from Win7 to Win10. Just updated, not reinstalled! After that, my display in DCS is really bad. I have no problems in other games and programs. It is all over in DCS, from the startmenu of DCS and in flying. In the DCS startmenu it have got a red/brown colour instead of the Blue, and in the game, it has the same colours and it is very blurry. Please see my attacted pic. I did not have any problems in Win7!!!! What I have tried: Updated Win10 to newest version, Updated my NVidia display drivers (no update available), Updated my monitor drivers (no update available), As told before, I did not have any problems in Win7. Any suggestions?

Well, if let's say USAF pilots are deployed in Afghanistan. How many pilots to each fighter aircraft? 1:1, 1:2 or 1:4 or? And again, will will the same pilots fly the same aircraft again and again, if it is possible?
-
I have seen on some fighter aircraft, that the pilots names are on the side of the aircraft, just below the canopy. I have there fore some questions about that. 1. Does it mean that it's only that pilot who flies that particular aircraft? 2. If #1 is yes, is it the same in both active duty (war) and in peace time? 3. In generel, does the pilots always fly the excact same aircraft, or do they just take the the first in the row? 4. In bigger countries, how many pilots are there normal to each aircraft? (fighter aircraft)

I found the solution by my self. One of the coordinates I have to choose from, was actually friendly forces. If you don't have a map in front of you, you will never know. I think Belsimtek have made a little trap there :-) regards Henrik

Can any one tell me how to complete the God og war mission, I think it is mission 15. As I remember, I have to evacuate a person, and then I near the pick up area, they say they are on fire, so I have to call the artellery in. I have 3 coordinates, I can give the artellery, they fire and call back that the mortars are eliminated. I'm been told to get the wounded person, its ok. I'm told to takeoff, and about 5 sec. later, the mission is failed. I have flown the mission 4 times, and it is always the same. That am I doing wrong?:helpsmilie: regards Henrik

That I really want is then I fly offline missions/campaigns is to change labels on and off then I want. Off course I would like not to use labels at all, but my skills don't allow me to do that, so I would like to turn labels on in the middle of a mission, if I'm sitting stuck. But the Lshift+F10 doesn't seens to work , and I have both tried to set labels on, in the options menu, and off. No matter, it doesn't work.
-
Do that mean it depend on which mission it is? Can it be changed in mission editor then?
-
I can't figure to turn labels on/off. I Can read that I have to use Lshift+F10, but nothing is happening. In the options menu, I can turn labels on/off, and that works fine. But if fx I have turned labels on in the options menu, I can't turn labels off in the middle of a mission. Have I missed something?

I have problems in WAG's Georgian Hammer (beta) campaign, mission 2: Kobuleti offensive CAS. I can't give ELM and RAZOR order to move. They don't show up in F10 other menu. I use radio assist and easy communication. That am I doing wrong? I can see in the Campaign overview that: Removed ground unit radio commands, now is manual through Combined Arms, if that's my problem, how do i then give the order through Combined Arms? I use A-10 version 1.2.0 CA version 1.2.0 beta

Default payload in Georgian Hammer campaign
Owl replied to Owl's topic in User Created Missions General
Well I see. But it sounds like it's not only me having problems with the default payload in this campaign. Am I doing something wrong, or? Another thing, how much are you using friendly? I mean "F10 OTHERS" Calling in SEAD, CAP and CAS. Henrik "Viking" -
I find the missions in Campaign: Georgian Hammer very difficult to go get succes in, with the default payload. I'm a newbie in the DCS A-10, and maybe I do something wrong.. But let me explain. Typical there are a lot of armoured vehicle, f.x. T-72's. You and your wingman have together 8 AGM-65 missiles, and then you have unguided bombs and your gun to the rest. The GBU-97, which is a cluster bomb, and it can't kill a T-72. The other unguided bomb is the MK-82 AIR. I find it nearly impossible to hit a T-72 with that kind of bomb. I think I do the right thing, then I send the MK-82 away, use the CCRP very precisely, but the bomb hit 50-100 meters away from the target. Can some one please help me? Du I misunderstand the priority of the missions or....? Regards Henrik "Viking"

Yes I mean in Black Shark...! There are missions, where you have to escort two choppers, and other missions where you should protect a convoy, and it is how the best way is to capture this. And then you're been attacked, how do you use your wingman best? Is it to use "attack ground targets", or? Henrik
-
Can any tell me how to fly an escort mission right? I mean, do you fly far ahead to clear the area the route go through, or are you flying just in front, or back of the heli/vehicles you have to protects. AND if the heli/vehicles are going to be attacked, how do you use your wingman then. I mean, if the Hells go on, it is difficult for me to both protect the heli/vehicles, and give my wingman commands... regards Henrik sorry for my english...! Hope you understand?

Does any one know, how DCS gives mission points in the logbook? I know if you kill one of your own og civilian, you loose all your points, but I can't figure out how DCS counts them. I'm startet to refly the campaigns, and after I have completed the Deployment campaign, I have 84 points. Sounds uncorrect for me, that I don't have more.

Now it works After reading Panzertards advices, i got it to work, and found what did wrong. Because I knew my control profile worked very vell on my old system, I have loaded it right after I installed DCS, all the first times I tried to install it on my new machine. This time, I reinstalled DCS, and began to fly a training mission right a way. Now all the keys works fine. Then I load my old control file, it did all go wrong again. I still have my old machine, so I just tried to save my profile once more on that machine, and load it on my new machine. And again, it goes all wrong. So my conclusion is (on my system any way), that I can´t take the profile file on my old machine, and load it on my new one. If it is Vista vs Win7, G15 drivers or something else, I don't know. I just make my own profile on my new system, that's no problem. By the way, off course I will uninstall DCS on my old machine, so I don't break the law. Thank you all.

My son have a Razer Lycosa keyboard, it is a gamer keyboard as well, from a manufactorer. The reason I says that is because I´m sitting and upgrading his drivers on his computer. Not that he have problems in his kind of games, but then I got into Razer's homepage, I saw that they have an updated driver only to Windows 7.Please click the link below: http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=290&nav=0,20 Especially the "bug fixes" made my attention: "Win, Ctrl, Alt and Shift keys not functioning after creation of macros. Only in Win 7 32/64" That´s exactly what my problem is, and maybe it is a general problem between Vista and Win7?

No I have not saved my controls config in the Blackshark.lua or other files. Now, I have installed DCS trice, and same problem. Then I go to in DCS/options/controls, no keys are selected at all. I can programme single keys, but then I try to select a combination like shift+key, Alt+key and CTRL+key, Nothing happen. My joystick (Saitek AV8R-01) works fine, also its buttons works fine, but again, if I choice a combination like ALT+Joystick button 3, It´s showing red in the controls menu, and then I can't save my profile. Then I tried to select a combination with to keys (shift+key and so) nothing happened, What I mean is no error occour, then I try to save the profile, just because nothing is selected. I have saved a control config.lua file, before I changed to Win7, and I'm 100% sure it worked perfect. Then I loaded this file in my new installed DCS in Win7, my joystick and all its buttons work perfect, also the buttons I have created by my self, but again, all my keyboard key selections are gone. I have installed the newest software/drivers to both my keyboard and my joystick.

Does any other have problems with Logitech G15 in DCS, with Windows 7? I have just changed to Windows 7 64 bit, with a complete new installation. I haven't upgraded my Vista. My hardware are completely the same. On Logitech's homepage, they have a list of hardware, which are compatible with Win7, and G15 isn't listed there. But in forums, people tell that Vista 64 bit drivers works fine. By so far, I haven't had any problems in other programs, but I haven't installed much yet. The most importent thing was to get airborne again. The problem is, then I in DCS go to options/controls, no keys are selected to any thing. Then I try to programe 2 keys in a combination, it won't allow me to. I have saved a profile, and then I loaded it, there was red marks on the joystick profiles. As I said, my system is completely the same, just formated the harddisk, and installed Windows 7 64 bit version. With Vista Home Premium, I have never ever had any problems. Please help me.
