  1. My son have a Razer Lycosa keyboard, it is a gamer keyboard as well, from a manufactorer. The reason I says that is because I´m sitting and upgrading his drivers on his computer. Not that he have problems in his kind of games, but then I got into Razer's homepage, I saw that they have an updated driver only to Windows 7.Please click the link below: http://www.razersupport.com/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=viewdownload&downloaditemid=290&nav=0,20 Especially the "bug fixes" made my attention: "Win, Ctrl, Alt and Shift keys not functioning after creation of macros. Only in Win 7 32/64" That´s exactly what my problem is, and maybe it is a general problem between Vista and Win7?
  2. No I have not saved my controls config in the Blackshark.lua or other files. Now, I have installed DCS trice, and same problem. Then I go to in DCS/options/controls, no keys are selected at all. I can programme single keys, but then I try to select a combination like shift+key, Alt+key and CTRL+key, Nothing happen. My joystick (Saitek AV8R-01) works fine, also its buttons works fine, but again, if I choice a combination like ALT+Joystick button 3, It´s showing red in the controls menu, and then I can't save my profile. Then I tried to select a combination with to keys (shift+key and so) nothing happened, What I mean is no error occour, then I try to save the profile, just because nothing is selected. I have saved a control config.lua file, before I changed to Win7, and I'm 100% sure it worked perfect. Then I loaded this file in my new installed DCS in Win7, my joystick and all its buttons work perfect, also the buttons I have created by my self, but again, all my keyboard key selections are gone. I have installed the newest software/drivers to both my keyboard and my joystick.
  3. Does any other have problems with Logitech G15 in DCS, with Windows 7? I have just changed to Windows 7 64 bit, with a complete new installation. I haven't upgraded my Vista. My hardware are completely the same. On Logitech's homepage, they have a list of hardware, which are compatible with Win7, and G15 isn't listed there. But in forums, people tell that Vista 64 bit drivers works fine. By so far, I haven't had any problems in other programs, but I haven't installed much yet. The most importent thing was to get airborne again. The problem is, then I in DCS go to options/controls, no keys are selected to any thing. Then I try to programe 2 keys in a combination, it won't allow me to. I have saved a profile, and then I loaded it, there was red marks on the joystick profiles. As I said, my system is completely the same, just formated the harddisk, and installed Windows 7 64 bit version. With Vista Home Premium, I have never ever had any problems. Please help me.
  4. I was wondering how pilots in real life is managing the different nav. lights? As I know, in DCS there are nav light, form light, rotor lights and anti col. beacon. When do they use each lights? That I'm thinking about is, in a combat mission, it can't be specially clever to flash too much, so the enemy can see you, but on the other way, there can also be wingmen and civil air traffic to take care off. Do any know how the real pilots manage the different lights? And in DCS, does it make any differents, how you manage them? Regards Henrik Owl.
  5. I don't really understand the goals in the missions. In the briefing, I can see the TP's and so, but then I fly the missions, there are a lot of other enemy around me, and I don't have ammunition to kill them all. For instance, if I have a target point with tanks, trucks, manpads, SAM's, armored personal vehicles and self-propelled howitzer. The last one's shooting through the enemy line, and targeting my ground forces, is it then only them I have to eliminate, to have succes on that TP? I know there are different kind of missions, and in the overview, I know that they means, but then I fly the missions, it is difficult for me to figure it out, that exactly that missions goals are.
  6. To illustrate my problem, i will try to explain a situation here: Me and my wingman is 6-7 km. from the targets, that means we are inside the range to fire and hit with our missiles. I have locked a target on my Shkval, and here I could have pressed the fire button, and few seconds later, the target was destroyed, but to save my own ammunitions, I give my wingman an order to "attack my target". Instead of just shooting from this distance, he fly much closer to the target, and a lot of times, he will been shoot down. That can I do to overcome this problem? Is it a wrong command to use, or have I completly misunderstand the way to complete the missions? I almost never come to close to the targets, I like to shoot them from long distances, but don't have enough missiles to complete the mission my self. Henrik
  7. I have noticed, that then I have been back on the base and rearmed the Ka-50 (with default load), I can fly to the front again, and maybe shoot 2-4 ground targets, but then after that, and I have locked a new target, there isn't comming the "c", and I can't fire the missile. There are still missiles to use, so I don't know that is wrong? I only have the problems, after I have rearmed the chopper, and got back on the battlefield again. As I said, there should still be missiles, I can find another ground target, and have no problems with locking it, but I never get the "c" in the HUD, and are not allowed to shoot.
  8. All right, I think I get it. I have only flown the original missions in black Shark. By the way, if a missions primary target for instance are, lets say, 8 T72 tanks, do you then use time and weapon on other vechiles near by. I mean, there are always trucks, fueltrucks and so, in the groups, and they are off course harmless, but do they count "points" in the missions? That are you doing? Are you kill all vechiles, or....? Regards Owl
  9. How do Ka-50 Black Shark calculate the percent completed in each mission? I ask, because I have seen a lot of times, that you have, for instance, 45% completed, and then 2 minutes later, you only have 35% completed. I have to be honest, I nearly never complete a mission 100%, but does the above means, in that situation, you will never reach 100%? I thought the completed mission percents, was how many of the primary targets you hit, but it may be more than just that, or....? Regards Owl
  10. Thanks for all your advices and fast replies :-)
  11. I don't know how to deal with the situation, then the computer female voice say: Warning, under attack! I think i know why she says so, and I touch the "ins" button on my keyboard to use flares, but always, about 5 sec later, I'm shot down. That kind of missiles is it, and how do I get away with it, and don´t be killed every time? Sometimes then a Strela shots at me, I can use flares with succes, and here I never hear a voice say I'm under attack. So it wonderer me that kind of weapen it is.
  12. Then I fly the Black Shark missions, I'm thinking about how real world pilots find their enemies on ground. To be honest, in Black Shark it is possible to see the enemies from a long distance, because there are small black pixels on the fields. Off course you can´t see manpads and vechieles behind trees and buildings, but then they are placed on a field, you can see them far away, and long enough away, so they don´t shoot at you. In the real world, I would think the vechieles are camouflaged, and not placed in the middle of a open field....? How do a real pilot navigate and find this kind of enemies, before they are so close at them, that they got shot down?
