I'm not against raptor, but the fact that a raptor costs 6x more then a mirage does; doesn't make flight hours a real good comparison. (not speaking of maintenance costs and development costs which are huge) I also think most pilots flying raptors will have many hours in another kind of plane. EDIT: Did some research. "Did a super job against all enemies"? Bear in mind it was designed to do so in A2A And the enemy aircraft aren't that spectacular: Mirage 2000 and F-16 I think flying against a Su-27 or Su-30 would be more interesting for the 'readiness for the job' And there is the PAK-FA ofcourse

Sorry, but he won because Ferrari wasn't developping their car anymore. They are putting all their money in the development of next year's car.
