[BUG/ DCS ISSUE] Cannot launch using the catapult after patch

+1 here, getting mad but still not being able to take off from carrier. 95% failed. Please, ED or HB, help us! we cannot use the module since you fix the problem! ps: i'm using the OpenBeta... on the final release works? -
My A10C module have an error in the TGP view after the update: the thermal views (W hot and B hot) doesn't work properly. With some camera angle the screen goes black. The problem might be correlated to the target distance: i notice that it works (not always) with far object, while if i point the tgp closer to the aircraft the image disappears. I need to swap to "camera mode" (not thermal) to see something. i play in VR, oculus Rift S, open beta 2.5.6

Performance in VR seems to have changed

i'm having issue with new open beta update and new nvidia drivers... my framerate is decreased significantly since last time i've played. Obviously in VR, with Rift S and the system in signature... :( -
Io ho cominciato la mia esperienza VR con il mio vecchio portatile Alienware 17R4, con i7 6820k, 1070 e 16gb di ram. Con queste specifiche in VR, con oculus rift S, ottenevo risultati accettabili soltanto al minimo, ombre spente e PD a 1.2. Per lavoro ho effettuato upgrade del PC di casa (che ora sfrutto più per giocare che lavorare) e ho preso Alienware area51, con i9 9940x, 2080Ti, 32gb ram e tutto su SSD da 4tb. Con questa configurazione in VR si va tranquillamente spingendo tutto su High, PD 1.5, msaa 2x, anisotropic 16x, ombre dinamiche e lens flare. Come ti han detto gli altri, con la 1070 solo fai poco, risparmia per un po' e cambia tutto se puoi giocare in VR un po' seriamente

Ragazzi, tolto il Vsync e tutto va perfetto. Sono anche riuscito ad alzare gli altri parametri di grafica per averlo ancora più perfetto come resa. Non ho tentato di alzare il PD, per il momento fermo a 1.2, tuttavia provo ad alzarlo nelle prossime serate, con i saldi mi sono preso modulo Harrier e A10, entrambi hanno le scritte sui display parecchio piccole rispetto a F18, forse aumentando un attimo il PD diventano un po' più leggibili con l'oculus..

Ottimo l, mi fa molto piacere questa cosa! Domani provo, anche io con la tua configurazione (processore anche molto più spinto) gli strappi non sono tollerabili... Comunque se leggete su mudspike, l'intervista a Wags, dicono che è in fase di lavorazione un motore tutto nuovo, anche per il vr... Forse è la volta che ottimizzano un po' il tutto e finalmente l'hardware lo si potrà sfruttare al 100%

ho fatto alcuni test l'altra sera. ho ridotto PD a 1.2 e vado con msaa 2x, il problema degli scattoni a bassa quota/terra rimane perennemente. Provato anche ad abbassare pd, togliere msaa, abbassare di brutto la grafica, il problema permane... ora che dite di togliere il vsync, presumibilmente lo ho attivo, ora non ricordo. Prossimo passo controllo questo :)

attenzione che quando non si accende l'mdf, in teoria dovresti visualizzare le scritte ma non si retroillumina, solitamente sono problemi di alimentazione. Se lo hai collegato ad un hub usb, probabilmente non ce la fa ad alimentarlo correttamente, e ciò potrebbe provocare errori anche nella lettura degli assi. Verifica che l'hub eventualmente sia alimentato oppure collega l'x52 direttamente al pc

Sta sera faccio una prova, PD 1.0 e MSAA x2, oppure MSAA off e PD 1.5 o maggiore... vediamo come reagisce! anche se avevo provato a togliere anitalising, e tenere PD 1.3 come default, ma la differenza era abissale, inguardabile senza MSAA. Tenterò ad alzare il PD.

i'm having issues too even after the hotfix, i can't drop any bomb in CCIP mode, now the CCRP have been fixed, but the CCIP still not working. I've tried last night dropping a MK84 in a campaign mission, i had to release it in auto mode.

Io ho lo stesso problema... non sono riuscito a risolvere, nemmeno abbassando la grafica, a terra o in volo a bassa quota scatta, mentre ad alta quota oppure in mare zero problemi.... non credo sia l'hardware il problema... Oculus Rift S, su pc con i9-9940x, 2080Ti, 32gb ram, SSD... Utilizzo settings tutto su High, MSAA 2x, Filtro 16x, lens flare, PD 1.3. Anche abbassando non cambia nulla, sempre scatti a terra o bassa quota... Penso proprio sia un problema driver o comunque non dipendente dall'hardware.

yes, you can. Just undesignate any active target while SOI on camera, and change the waypoint with the arrow in the UFC. The camera will point toward the steerpoint. PS: is it possible to do that even with the F18 targetin pod? I've never been able to do that and it could be so useful...
