This depends very much on the sim you are using and the particular helicopter. The Hind preset can be a good starting point but will need a lot of adjusting for say, the R22 in X-plane or MSFS, as it doesn't have any effective force trim. As an example, for the H145 in MSFS I have the spring set at zero and adjust the other settings, like friction etc, to get that 'hydraulic' feel. In DCS with the Apache I use 30% spring which is applied when force trim is active but gives a nice hydraulic feel when in trim-release. If you jump on the Moza channel on Discord you find some good presets for some helicopters. Bear in mind that every time you do a Moza software or firmware update you will likely need to adjust your settings. I've attached a couple you can try. Make sure to adjust the settings on the 'Special' tab to your own requirements. They may or may not work for you depending on your software/firmware versions. I'm on 1.0.5.41 Cockpit and 1.1.1.41 firmware (these are likely beta versions, they change frequently atm)

ps: actually that Apache preset is based heavily on a preset worked up by a guy on Discord who has some 3,000 hours on the real machine

    DCS AH-64D 01052025.preset 10.79 kB · 5 downloads MSFS H145 01052025.preset 10.82 kB · 1 download

thanks man. it worked a lot.

Btw I couldn't get the trim worked on KA-50 and UH-1. When i hit the button, nothing happens. Any solutions?

  2. hi Guys

Just grabbed the AB9 but overwhelmed with the settings in the app. I need very very light -two finger- helicopter cyclic settings just to use as a simulation of hydraulic force trim. I used to do that by reducing in game force trim power but now it doesn't work. Can you give a quick tip?

We are still early in the life cycle of these products. Only one proper company has made one and they are still doing a lot of development on it. Others don't have their hardware out yet, let alone have a mature solution.

Only once the expensive bases start to mature, can you expect a move towards lower end solutions.

hope your pov is right and they will evolve their tech accordingly. however, this tech is acually pretty old.

there are some 15-20 years old ffb sticks in the market. for steering wheels, market is a ffb heaven from belt mechanism to direct drive etc.

  4. will we be able to use Taurus on the table? 😄

Jokes aside, my hopes are melting away for a normal size ffb stick like msffb2 or logi g940. I am not a torque chaser. just wanna have it for helis.

  5. Hi Guys
    I just can’t decide.

If I replace my 9700K with a 9900K, will it make any noticable difference?
If not; is replacing it with AMD 7700X (along with MSI B650 + 32gb ddr5 ram) good idea?
I need to spare some budget because I am also planning to buy a Moza Ab9, which is very expensive too.

Mostly playing DCS and MSFS24 only

  6. at least you can reach to cockpit.

today I have uninstalled and removed all files of this game. Then re-installed again. At first it worked with t51. then i installed my planes and it didn't work again.

My PC also get locks up during this spawn object thing

For me game is over. I will switch to msfs and other fligh sims units it is solved.
