agree. i liked l-39 albatros too much. very pretty bird. i thought of buying it but.. what am i suppose to with it? if i dare to dog fight in multiplayer, they will hunt me like duck. a2g is also unefficient. recon missions? there is none in dcsw

 

i am triying to look from devs window, but can't get it that why they don't produce an f-16 or something like that. if they do so, i am sure that they can sell it much more than they had sold other modules. community is dying for a modern multirole fighter.

the main problem is flir itself. detecting objects is very hard. their hot states must be fixed. lots of things can be seen as "hot"

do you mean they engage but can not hit targets? if so, yes they are pretty dumb. in fact after an update they used to be like sharp shooter. and then people started to complain about it. then with following update they were made very stupid shooters.

 

ai gunners open door if you make their roe situation "open fire" or something like that but not "hold fire"

I would have liked to have them as well, but as our French friends say, C'est La Vie! We are going to have to be content with the Su-25T for the Iron Hand mission just a bit longer until the F/A-18C comes out. Till then:book::joystick::pilotfly::thumbup:

 

 

without proper a-g capability, exocet and armat capabilities, and i think also without active radar aa misssiles , this plane is not very different from su-27 or su-33 except clickable cocpit and flight model.

i would buy it at first release if it has exocet and armats. otherwise will wait till flash sales lol

I would imagine sometime between now and the November planned release of 2.0 beta we will see 1.5 go live. I think there a few big issues they are trying to iron out before pushing 1.5 to full release.

Well DCS 1.5 is fully released. You can try the entire thing. Everything sort of works. It is just not officially deemed stable by ED. That doesn't mean you can't try it out. You can easily make the updater load DCS 1.5 and you can revert back to 2.0. You can also install a seperate second DCS install that tracks the openbeta branch. All of this has been released by ED, so it is not working around anything or sort of hacking into something.

 

i am little bit confused in that part sir. my english is not very good. i don't install beta branches of this sim, so how can i load 1.5 via normal updater? and reverting back to 2.0, what does it mean it is not even in beta, did i understand wrong? sorry

i meant full release by "public". no didin't try it. and "months" sounds very sad. i wish them best on getting rid of that bugs.
