Yes, thx for understanding now high speed stall, or accelerated stall is what I am talking about... BUT I am getting it with only / barely 50% deflection of my joystick... (in the Albatros) Perhaps in Tune-Axis I should flatten out the Y axis ? maybe a little ?
-
One more try at explaining myself, It's simple : I takeoff in L-39C quickstart takeoff will do... Get her lean & clean to 600 kph low, say 1,000 ft and bank nearly 90 deg I pull 20% back on my joystick... she turns I pull 30% she turns tighter I pull 40% I can hear and feel a little turbulence above the wings I pull 45% and she spins, stalls, rocks, buffets does anything but fly No other craft does this in DCS... maybe an Su27 in S mode pulling throttle 85% back ? I bet 90% of DCS L-39C Pilots have noticed how intolerant to high G the DCS model is I know the shape of the wing cannot generate that much lift... but I feel it behaves a little oddly as it starts to fail.
-
Ok let's forget about G Just fly at 400, 500, 600 kph whatever you like (Bank, or not) then Pull the stick towards you and the aircraft goes out of control
-
Pulling G Okay I got into a 800 kph dive and sustained a 6+ G turn for a while. Not happening by chance. Plus I was amazed at how little speed I bled. Then I went up again.... started pulling & even got to 8G but went out of control after that. But flying normally there's a ceiling of 4-5G. Something not right in my opinion.
-
Forgive my ignorance; I love the L-39 module... but I am still puzzled: I know what G force is and what AoA is and I know what a high speed stall is... BUT when I pull back on the stick above 50% my L-39 loses it.... it flies ugly.. a wing stalls the craft is buffeted about. In short, it can't take much strain. I can't for the life of me pull 6G yet I know that's possible in an L-39 Is this how it's supposed to be ? everyone else happy ?

"Make HTML" no longer works for L-39C or ZA
pandoraefretum replied to Diplocaulus's topic in DCS: L-39 Albatros
same problem here ; I have X55 Rhino ; you too? -
My make HTML of the keyboard layouts for L-39 is corrupt in both DCS 1.5.3 and 2.01 I just get a line ___________________ at least that's what chrome sees

Wait, it's working now.... I had to do a Shutdown / Switch On of my PC a Restart did not solve it!! Weirdest Problem I ever came across.. It still refuses to work (only the Down Nose Trim) ... restart PC solves this now How strange!!!
-
Trim Nose Down RCTRL ; is not working in my latest DCS 15.2 The other 3 trim directions work fine Not on my X55 stick nor my Keyboard!!! Not on the Su-25T nor the Su-27

To close this ; I apologize for reporting the crash... it was my CPU overheating during a skirmish... it has been seen to and now has a massive 'gaming' fan, which keeps it in the 30-40 deg C range and always appears to run cool now. DCS is super stable. What is amazing is that the PC was just closing down the app which was stressing it (DCS) and returning to desktop for a cool-off, fully functional. I report this in case others fall into the same problem. Thx and bye

Steering problem in ALL planes (to the right)
pandoraefretum replied to Ala12Rv-watermanpc's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
This is probably wrong Are you sure there's no crosswind... I find even 10 kts of crosswind a nightmare!! -
FYI, Very minor error : After my Hawk Intercept mission, the debrief spells it wrongly intersept (with an s not a c) Thanks, Roland
-
Sorry I think it's my PC, not DCS I've got a hunch now : My PC is crashing under any strain... I think it's hardware : My neighbor will check and clean it tomorrow It's probably the heat sink come unstuck from the CPU and over temp error got reported in bios. I will report back when it's been inspected / repaired.
-
not overclocked nope.. I would not be fussing here if it were overclocking tweaks so strictly CPU nor GPU overclocking... will check everything again latest catalyst drivers too (maybe this the problem ?)
-
Thx and I can follow up Thanks, and just to say I can produce as many new Track and Log files as necessary I am grateful that DCS has been so stable on my system (until now) !!
-
Thx for reply Also might add that DCS 2 is not crashing with skirmishes I monitored the CPU and GPU temp ; not getting too hot at all I lowered a bunch of graphic settings ; I ran auto-repair ; crashes persist I have a remote feeling it's explosions. LastMissionTrack.zip Logs.zip

Hello to any kind soul who can point me in the right; Since Xmas day I get constant crashes 5 minutes into any Instant Skirmish. Never ever had crashes before (last time was 5 years ago or so?!).. My OS is Win 7 64-bit, but the hardware is 2.5 years old now: I use a Radeon HD 7850 (is this out-dated now?) i7-3770K 3.4Gz CPU, 8GB DDR3 1222Mhz RAM, SSD 250Gb 840 Samsung Evo, Asus P8z77-V Pro Motherboard. My saved crash Logs : Thx and bye for now! # -------------- 20151228-070321 -------------- # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at E7ABBF55 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 E7ABBF55 1536FA10 0000:00000000 SND_del_wave_path()+1625 E7ABC4DF 1536FA60 0000:00000000 SND_del_wave_path()+1BAF E7ABD4CD 1536FAC0 0000:00000000 SND_del_wave_path()+2B9D E7ABCF81 1536FB00 0000:00000000 SND_del_wave_path()+2651 E7ABFA2C 1536FB60 0000:00000000 SND_del_wave_path()+50FC E7ABF8A9 1536FB90 0000:00000000 SND_del_wave_path()+4F79 76EA5A4D 1536FBC0 0000:00000000 BaseThreadInitThunk()+D 770DB831 1536FC10 0000:00000000 RtlUserThreadStart()+21 # -------------- 20151227-175757 -------------- # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at ECF89C9F 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 ECF89C9F 0030F2F0 0000:00000000 ECF87706 0030F320 0000:00000000 ECF87815 0030F370 0000:00000000 3FAB0538 0030F3E0 0000:00000000 3FAB48D2 0030F410 0000:00000000 3FACAAA4 0030F440 0000:00000000 3FACA9F4 0030F470 0000:00000000 3FB7A4FC 0030FB20 0000:00000000 3FB7D6C5 0030FB60 0000:00000000 77305A4D 0030FB90 0000:00000000 BaseThreadInitThunk()+D 7743B831 0030FBE0 0000:00000000 RtlUserThreadStart()+21 # -------------- 20151227-172238 -------------- # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at E33EA39E 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 E33EA39E 0031EB30 0000:00000000 getModelManager()+98E # -------------- 20151226-153932 -------------- # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 3F488265 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 3F488265 0023F210 0000:00000000 3F60817D 0023F550 0000:00000000 3F5A3DF9 0023F5C0 0000:00000000 3F6B327F 0023F620 0000:00000000 EBE872DF 0023F6A0 0000:00000000 EBE87825 0023F6F0 0000:00000000 3F7D0538 0023F760 0000:00000000 3F7D48D2 0023F790 0000:00000000 3F7EAAA4 0023F7C0 0000:00000000 3F7EA9F4 0023F7F0 0000:00000000 3F89A4FC 0023FEA0 0000:00000000 3F89D6C5 0023FEE0 0000:00000000 774A5A4D 0023FF10 0000:00000000 BaseThreadInitThunk()+D 775DB831 0023FF60 0000:00000000 RtlUserThreadStart()+21 # -------------- 20151226-144148 -------------- # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at E70A2D52 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 E70A2D52 0026E4C0 0000:00000000 DllCanUnloadNow()+D42 E70A47EC 0026E550 0000:00000000 DllCanUnloadNow()+27DC E70A531C 0026E6A0 0000:00000000 DllCanUnloadNow()+330C E825128C 0026E6E0 0000:00000000 DirectInput8Create()+CA6C E8254964 0026E720 0000:00000000 DllCanUnloadNow()+2888 E82554EE 0026E750 0000:00000000 DllCanUnloadNow()+3412 E824DA36 0026E7A0 0000:00000000 DirectInput8Create()+9216 E8282DD7 0026E8E0 0000:00000000 ??0Input@@AEAA@XZ()+1527 E8282C93 0026E940 0000:00000000 ??0Input@@AEAA@XZ()+13E3 E8287914 0026E9C0 0000:00000000 ?isImmediate@ForceFeedback@@AEBA_NXZ()+3FF4 E82867EB 0026EA10 0000:00000000 ?isImmediate@ForceFeedback@@AEBA_NXZ()+2ECB E828463E 0026EC20 0000:00000000 ?isImmediate@ForceFeedback@@AEBA_NXZ()+D1E E828395B 0026EC60 0000:00000000 ?isImmediate@ForceFeedback@@AEBA_NXZ()+3B E82523EB 0026F120 0000:00000000 DllCanUnloadNow()+30F E8283D05 0026F1D0 0000:00000000 ?isImmediate@ForceFeedback@@AEBA_NXZ()+3E5 E8283B0D 0026F2B0 0000:00000000 ?isImmediate@ForceFeedback@@AEBA_NXZ()+1ED E82903B3 0026F300 0000:00000000 ?initialize@Input@@SAXPEAX@Z()+A3 4034C4C2 0026F3B0 0000:00000000 4041A4AE 0026FA60 0000:00000000 4041D6C5 0026FAA0 0000:00000000 77A35A4D 0026FAD0 0000:00000000 BaseThreadInitThunk()+D 77C6B831 0026FB20 0000:00000000 RtlUserThreadStart()+21

Thanks for the reply... It now works after rebooting my computer. The Classic solution. but still have a panel missing in the middle of my Mig-21.. you can see right through it....
-
After perhaps solving persistent activation requests now I have no throttle Frustratingly, Throttle Control Axis is not binding with my CH Throttle nor Ms Sdewinder I can only use keyboard throttle. I have played sims for 20 years, but never enjoyed them Always spent my time trying to get them to work!! (Same goes for computers in general) Help appreciated

Hmm, Got rid of msvcrt errors with a clean install thx to the tips for cleaning the registry. Also fixed the bad shading with Nvidia by setting shadows to all planar. Now I still get Lomac not responding 50% of the time after I select a mission and click on fly.... it just sizzles out (dies) on loading... without any indication of this other than if I bring up task manager and find out it's not responding. I installed to user/username/ubisoft as another post recommended. So my question is ; do I miss out much by not installing FC 1.12b ? ie just using Lomac 1.02 ? I know the Su25T is a good flight model, but is that it ? Of course I have Black Shark, but I'm more of a jet sim fan than a chopper fan...
-
Thanks, for the tip But yes, updated StarForce for Vista Interestingly I copied both msvcrt files from system32 to Lockon's directory (the opposite from what most ppl recommend)... the game works However it stops loading 50% of the time after I select a mission... How do I clean out registry after uninstalling FC 1.12b ? Will it be done automatically.. ? Is there a utility that can Search & Destroy Lomac references in the reg ? cheers, Roland
