Hello, Habu 23 I just tried the PIG-flight in single player tonight...I think i found a small bug...Some of the vehicles at the startup location at the airfield gets in the way of the other (AI) A10s and prevent them from taxiing to the runway...No big problem though...just needed to move them out of the way a little in the editor...Thought i would let you know if you plan on releasing an further updated singleplayer version... Also a question... My first task was to destroy the two cave entrances...I could not find them ? I found the SA13 and the tent-camp amongst the trees but no cave entrances...What should i look for ? Are they actual cave entrances or have you used some other unit/building to represent them... Thanks/ Repsol

Hi, Druid I don't know if i solved this in the 'correct' way but i changed from ATTACK GROUP to ATTACK UNIT ATTACK UNIT gave me alot more controll over the AI (adding attack direction, altitude, the number of weapons to be fired/released etc...I could not find those settings in the ATTACK GROUP option (wish i could...exactely what i was looking for) When i used ATTACK GROUP i could not get the AI to maintain altitude...I had the AI A10 orbitt at 20 00+ feet and when the AI got the ATTACK GROUP task it started the attackrun and then droped to very low altitude...I guess it got to low (below HOF) to drop the CBU97. I had all the waypoints (both before and after the ATTACK GROUP) set to the same altitude 20 000+ feet but still the AI dropped to very low altitude when attacking...Well in range of all enemy air defences !? I wish that ATTACK GROUP would have the same SETTING OPTIONS that ATTACK UNIT have... Don't know if this helps much...but thats what i did...
  4. Missionbuilding put on hold... I have been struggeling during the weekend with this new mission crashing...I have not been able to find a solution...:( I'm tired if this and will take a break... Maybe it will work after the next update... For now...no more work

Hello, Lange 666 Thanks for the feedback..:) If i don't remember wrong...You only get one message with a RADIO FREQUENCY....That is the first message from COMMAND 1 once you are airborne (giving you your tasking). At the end of that message you get the FREQUENCY 30.00 FM to be able to contact COBRA 11 at the target area. You don't need to change any RADIO SETTINGS...the FM RADIO is set to 30.00 by default. The message after that is the PILOT (You) making a communication check with COBRA 11 to make sure the communication is working. You don't need to do anything at this point... The only time that you ACTIVELY will need to contact COBRA 11 is after the GUN PLATOONS move out and you want COBRA 11 to give you an update on their locations. Use COMM.MENU option F10 to do this... I will have a look at the missing WIND-info in the briefing Thanks :pilotfly:
  7. GR VAGGOS, thanks I will keep your remarks regarding airdefences in mind... Mission two is almost finished though. It will have some more SAM units but if you just keep out of the way of those, read the briefing and follow the instructions from the flight leader you should be fine.
  8. Hello, GR VAGGOS Thanks for the feedback...:) quick question... Did you manage to kill any of the gunplatoons before they started to move out ? Mission 2 is almost finished (i hope to have it done in a few days) It may be a little more difficult...More airdefences :joystick: It will be a two flight mission (the first one i have made with the player flying as number two... requering some formation flying skills :smilewink:)
  9. Hello A quick question... Why are the city/village names on the F10-map and the TAD-map not the same ? For example: - Martvili on the F10-map seems to be Gegeschkari on the TAD-map - Honi on the F10-map seems to be Tsulukidze on the TAD-map

  11. Ooh, i guess that is a KEYBOARD shortcut...I have never used that...only the radio menu. Maybe i should have a look at that... NO PROBLEM with the missunderstanding :pilotfly:

Yes...I to use pen and paper...but sometimes i feel that i might miss part of the message when i'm in a rush to copy the coordinates down (before they go away or i forgett them)...I might even get them wrong (not very often, i agree...but still)... Adding the RADIO ITEM ADD and RADIO ITEM REMOVE is not really that much work...The triggers with the TASKING mess and TASKING COMPLETED mess already exist. I understand that missions like THIS ONE is very complex though with many triggers and will require a fair bit of work to add this function. My suggestion is in no way NECESSARY...just a suggestion for a minor 'improvement' :)
  13. Hello Habu23... One other thing you might consider adding to the single player version that atleast i find very useful... On the TRIGGERS giving the player his tasking...please add a RADIO ITEM ADD with the target coordinates...This way the player will not be in a rush to copy down the coordinates and risk of misstyping them or missing other parts of the message...Instead he/she just needs to open the F10 comms menu when they are ready to enter the coordinates into the CDU...Like this... RADIO ITEM ADD......"Trg Coord: FJ 277159" And once the tasking is complete...Add a RADIO ITEM REMOVE with the same text on the TRIGGER with the task completed message...(to keep the radio menu uncluttered).
  14. That is true offcourse :) but will this work with the radio option ENGAGE also and not only ENGAGE WITH (if i broadcast my SPI)... I only play singleplayer and mostly with only 1 or two A10s so far so i have not really had any need to broadcast my SPI before...Things has worked fine anyway.
  15. Habu23... This mission is AMAZING ! It will provide many hours of god fun...THANK YOU ! I play the single player version. I have only tried it a few times playing the default HAWG missions. One little 'bug'... Just like MAIN SAIL observed...The radio frequenzy for HAWG flight is set to 251.00 in the editor and the default when starting the mission is 225.00 It would be good if you could put the A10 flights radio frequenzies in the BRIEFING. and some MINOR suggestions... Last attempt i did i got the task to assist at the crashed helikopter-site... - When i attacked the SECOND column off enemies (armoured) they dispersed and remained stationary for a very long time (not posing any big threat to the crash-site)... Maybe those could be set to DO NOT DISPERSE to force them to advance to the crash-site at full speed. I understand that the downside to this might be that they will be somewhat easier to destroy when traveling along the road in a column...An other suggestiom might be to split that column up in 2 GROUPS (traveling together in column formation along the road)...One GROUP set to DO NOT DISPERSE and the other to DISPERSE...This way some Veichles will spread out when hit and some will push on requering MORE HASTY destruction before they threaten the crash site... - When i ordered my flight memebers to attack groundtargets some of them found targets from what i think was an other TASK...Suggestion...Maybe the enemy units (in singleplayer) could be set to INVISIBLE from the start and only becoming VISIBLE once that TASK becomes the ACTIVE one... Once again...these are only minor suggestions to a TOP RATE mission ! Thanks for making it ! Regards, Repsol

  18. Hello... I'm sorry if this has been asked before but i could not find any thread with a search... My problem... I want an AI A10 to attack a group of tanks using CBU97 bombs. This aircraft is armed with CBU 97 and maverick missiles. It sees and selects the target fine and is broadcasting it as its SPI (me flying as wingman and watching my TAD). But instead of using the CBU97 the AI A10 fires its two maverick missiles at the target. WHAT AM I MISSING TO DO ? I have done the following in the TRIGGERED ACTIONS: - PERFORM TASK - attack group - I have not changed the NUMBER 1 in the BOX (don't really know what this does) - I have the ENABLE-box ticked - I have put a name in the NAME-box (attack tank) - I have put (tank) in the GROUP-box - I have put (1.3.2. clusterbombs) in the WEAPON-box - I have the A10 orbiting at a distance from the target. - I stop the orbiting with a FLAG ON - I use the AI ACTION (attack tank) The AI A10 stops orbiting and flying towards the next waypoint i have over the target and making the target its SPI and when in range firing it mavericks (not CBU 97). Is the triggered action perhaps not working for me and the AI A10 just choosing its own target and weapon that it sees (the tank unit) and engaging that on its own ??? Any help will be aprisiated !
  19. Hello. Im working on a mission were the PLAYER is not the LEAD aircraft in a two ship flight but rather act as a wingman to the lead AI pilot. Two things have come up that i feel would be good if they could be included in an update: 1. You can not assign the PLAYER to nr 2 in a group. The player has to be the LEAD aircraft. I think it would be nice if a feature could be added to allow the mission builder to assign the player any possition within a group he/she choses. The way i have done it now is to use 2 groups with 1 A10 in each with the AI group acting as lead. This causes minor problems though. The COMMs will not being correct and also prohibit simultainious takeoff from the runway. 2. Feature number 2 i would like included is the addition of a new option in the PERFORM TASK options in the ADVANCED WAYPOINT and TRIGGER actions.... 'ASSIGN TARGET' With this you should be able to have a unit assigning a target and broadcast that target as its SPI on the TAD...WITHOUT ENGAGING IT ! With this feature you could for example have a message... 'Attack triple A at my SPI' And having the AI lead broadcast that target as his SPI. This would allow the AI to assign targets in a simular fashion to what human players do in multiplayer (if i'm not wrong)

A Few questions for future missions... - Difficulty level...Do you find this mission to easy, to hard or just about right ? - Amount of units...Do you feel that the this mission has to few units (friendly ,enemy)... Maybe adding more at the risk of lowering FPS...? - any other like, dislike part of the first mission ? Any feedback welcome....

  22. Hello. While waiting for the MiG 21 and the Nevada map i have decided to try and make a few missions for my beloved friend...The A10 ! My plan is to make a number of missions within the same setting. I have just finished the first one and uploaded it to the user files (to big to upload here). It will be avaliable soon i hope.. The general setting is as follows: OPERATION - REBELL YELL Situation: In the 2012 presidential election Micheil Saakasjvilli won the election and with that the "united national movement"-party lost power and was replaced by the more pro-western "Georgian dream"-party. During the next couple of months president Saakasjvilli launced a number of reforms to increase the freedom of speech and democratic rights for the georgian people. This was a very welcome change to most of the neigbouring countries and also to EU and other western countries. Russia on the other hand was not very pleased. Russia used to have very good relations with- and high influence over the former goverment in Georgia (united national movement) and this drift towards western democracy was not something the Kremlin approved of. Things turned for the worse when Georgia applied for full membership in NATO in late september 2012. Russia informed the western countires that a Geogian membership in NATO was totally unacceptable and a threat to national security. Relations between Russia and the west hit rock bottom. To avoid a new cold war - the Georgian request was turned down by NATO. Inside Georgia - not everyone approved of this pro-western approach of the new goverment. Many 'oldtimers' did not understand this democracy thing and missed the good old times with communism. Rumours of a conspiracy could be heard and finally on oktober the first the military revolted and arrested president Saakasjvilli. This military coup was lead by no other than Davit Kezerasjvili, the minister of defence in the new goverment and one of president Saakasjvillis most trusted men. The majority of the Georgian people did not approve of this military coup and the streets soon got crowded by protesting civilians demanding the imediate release and reinstatment of president Saakasjvilli. At first the demonstartions were allowed but as the protests grow they were brutaly knocked down by the armed forces. The military coup was however not a total succes. The abkhazian part of Georgia, being the most pro-western, never accepted nor took part in this coup. Both the military and political leaders in Abkhazia supported president Saakasjvilli. The Abkhazian part of georgia soon became the base for the oppsition. What had started as peaceful demonstation more and more turned to armed resistance as the brutallity of the new military goverment grow. A number of rebel groups had formed and they saw it as their duty to do their best to protect the civilians as best they could. Regular military units from the Abkhazian part of Georgia soon joyned the rebels in their strugle against the military goverment in Tiblisi... The conflict more and more started to look like a full civil war. The rebel side was however hopelesly under-gunned and few in numbers. The situation for the civilans soon got unberable and the number of refuges in the neigbouring countries grew at an alarming rate. In an attempt to force the new leadership in Tbilisi to stop with their murdering of innocent civilian the UN inflicted a number of resolutions against the Georgian leadership... freezing funds and more. This did little to stop the brutal killing. Many expressed the opinion that the UN needed to use military force to remove the new, undemocratic goverment and reinstate president Saakasjvilli. Russia, however, protested and the UN could not come to a decision to use military force. As the weeks passed and the apparent warcrime after warcrime were broadcasted on the internet and television the Russian resistance to a military intervention declined. On the 3rd of november Russia finally agreed to the use of 'limited' military force to expel the unlawful goverment in Tiblisi. The first step in this military intervention was to annonce a No-fly zone over Georgia to prevent the tiblisi leadership to use the airforce aginst rebel and civilan targets. NATO fighters based in Turkey were to enforce this no-fly zone. A few days later the 74th fightersquadron based at Moody AFB and its A10s were transfered to Sukhumi airbase in Abkhazia with the task to conduct strikemissions against goverment forces targeting civilan areas. There would be no TOTAL airwar this time though. The goal was not the complete destruction of the goverment armed forces. The russians would not allow it. Only goverment forces directly targeting civilians could be attacked. This ment that the Georgian air defence network were more or less intact. The missions will be Medium difficulty i think... Voice files will be included Hopefully i will be able to make one new mission each months...not sure though...I only have a limited number of hours i can devote to this each week...   24. Hello, ralfidude... Theese are quite simple missions with a limited number of enemies (both targets and air defences) and i don't think that they will be very interesting with more than one A10 in the air.. Not enough stuff to do...But by all means please feel free to try... I have never played multiplayer but the only thing you need to do (I THINK) will be to change the number off planes in A10 flight (player) and change both pilots to CLIENT... Not sure but i think this will work..
  25. Glad you like them...:) My gaming computer has had some major problems but it should be fixed by next week and i will be able to do some mission work again... Don't know how much though...as my computer time will be limited during the summer
