  1. Is there definitive/accurate info on what currently works in 2.7 regarding any of the WW2 naval assets? None of this is working for me and causes real problems. I can fully recover but in some cases they will even prevent DCS from starting. Been doing DCS for years - I know what I am doing in terms of proper install etc etc. Love this stuff - hope it gets upgraded - Axis and Allied - ALL. CHEERS !!! AND THANKS TO THE MOD MAKERS !!!!   3. Not sure when having to de pressurize the cockpit should be ( or was) in the sim or real world a prerequisite to eject ? I dont know what I dont know. I DO KNOW for a fact that in the past before I initiated this thread that I could eject from the 15 without having to depressurize the cockpit. One ejects in emergencies that may or may not lend themselves to doing a depress. procedure. What if the depress. sequence is inop or damaged? One thing is CERTAIN - before or after the addition of this depress requirement in the sim or bug - IF - you can eject the cockpit is going to depressurize on its on. Why was adding a depress requirement necessary. If the answer is to be ""authentic"" it is what it is - I could live without it but I aint drivin the bus. ; )
  4. I do not know if this is 2.7 related or not. I havent flown the MiG-15 in a while until today. Maybe since 2.7 come out. I run 2.7 open beta. These are the only problems I am aware of with the MiG-15bis - at least for now Canopy open/close - INOPERATIVE Canopy Emergency Jettison- does not jettison INOPERATIVE ( you SEE levers etc. moving for these functions but NOTHING happens) Ejection - will not eject - INOPERATIVE YES I have rebound keys................. YES I have even......................... Uninstalled the jet ....................and reinstalled the jet.................... to include OBVIOUSLY deleting the MiG-15bis Input files for control and started ALL over with new bindings.............. Problem persists. Anyone else having this issue ? CHEERS MATES !!!! ElvisDaKang

  6. ANSWER Sim was set to GAME MODE. WHY I do not know - I do not fly in it normally. It does beg the question - WHY with GAME mode selected .....would the MiG-29 behave like that at 1250 kph? The other supersonic FC3 aircraft don't.
  7. Without a video or a screen shot.................................. I will make this VERY simple. MiG-29 A, C or G Created single aircraft mission. Took off seal level from Anapa. Full burner take off - rotate , gear and flaps up. Climb to 400M and continue acceleration in max burner. At 1250kph the SEVERE cockpit shaking starts it doesn't start from bad and gets worse - IMMEDIATELY the cockpit control panel................. as a visual reference...... is rolling back and forth 90 degrees from left to right in an INSTANT i.e it takes milliseconds for one cycle of this to occur. GGTharos. Pretend you are in the bottom of a washing machine looking up and the machine is on spin cycle and just outside the washing machine you are trying to read the headlines on a newspaper. WHILST This is happening if you go to external aircraft few the plane is quivering hard in roll axis not more than about 3-4 degrees L-R roll. I friend of mine down the street does NOT experience this in his 29s. I will provide a vid as soon as I snag some record software to do so.
  8. I am running DCSW 2.56 Take off Go to 10K-15K or so but not necessary really to go that high but humor me............. and go to 10K. Go to burner if not already in it. DIVE DONT HIT THE GROUND. When I do this the aircraft starts a overall aircraft SHAKE or vibration like the jet is coming apart. If you are in the cockpit the jet is no longer flyable visually in the sim. WTF is up with this. I am familiar with the SHAKE setting in MISC settings. There is NO mention of this on this website or on GOOGLE or on Youboob. Thanks !! ELVIS AND obviously this is with regard to ANY variant of the MiG-29 A , C or G all perform in this regime of flight as described. IS this OLD ass FC3 flight modeling for this particular aircraft. SU-27 and SU-33 do not do this .
  9. Key Bindings Dropping Out After Being Set /Reverting After being set back to previous setup Self explanatory. I have NEVER in the past experienced this happening. If you have just spent 30 minutes..... or longer being meticulous in setting up radar zone and radar cursor manipulation, mode selection ETC ETC bindings to joystick hat switch , joystick buttons and keyboard binding it can REALLY PISS YOU OFF and increase your alcohol consumption. Yesterday in my STEAM DCS installation - I set up my F-15 controls beyond just flight controls for radar and weapons. BEFORE THIS - I had just been flying the the damn thing .........using ONLY controls needed for that . I had bound EJECT and canopy and that is really about it. ( I have a VKB stick as primary, CH Pro Stick I use for throttle only, and CH Pro Pedals they have been working FLAWLESSLY together for MONTHS) Has anyone experienced this and what is the best fix to prevent it ? I have UNinstalled and will be starting over. I Know where the Input files are and how to back them up. I will save a copy of my VIRGIN DCS default input settingsfor keyboard mouse and joystick after I do a fresh reinstall. ALL OLD files have been removed. NOTHING remains of the old install ANYWHERE in saved games -or otherwise. In the CONTROLS area in sim there is no button to SAVE. I ASSUME when you are done and hit OK that this will save the bindings or changes you have just made. I HAVE read it is best to make changes or do bindings whilst IN the jet on the ramp IN the plane you are setting up. While I feel this should not be necessary I will do what I have to. I do NOT find this the quickest or the easiest way. As we all know different nomenclature can be used for the same controls in different aircraft.

  11. I run DCS Via STEAM. I DO have FC3(via STEAM as all my DCS/ED products are) . Since a big ED/DCS patch/upgrade- ""WHATever"" ...........a few weeks ago The VSN aircraft seem to be AI operable only. I am ALAS a NOOB. Can this aircaft be made top work- if so - HOW? If they can not does anyone know if there is an effort in progress to make them functional once more? Real miss the F-22 and F-35 !!! Elvis CHEERS !!! :beer::beer:
  12. By the way I am using DCS on STEAM. Steam also recently pushed a STEAM VR patch so I have no idea whether this is Steam VR or DCS issue. I am done with it in VR (and posting about it) unless a fix comes forward from who ever it needs to come from.
  13. Moved task bar to the side. No effect. Cannot select fly as the cursor will not go there. Cursor confined to window is selected. Can not click fly to start mission. Sim is now NON flyable in VR
  14. Thanks ! Understand this is a TEMP fix - but this issue should be addressed so this is not necessary.
  15. And it happens before mission start leaving me unable to select FLY. Although it first occurred in flight and locked me out of the controls after it put up the WINDOW OUT OF FOCUS MESSAGE. I will standby and let ED unscrew this.
  16. This IS a DCS issue relative to Oculus. I tested Oculus with 9 other VR applications. NO issue.
