  1. DCS Hind would be epic :D
  2. When you keep hearing the Ai speaking to you o.O Two, Contact, armour target......
  3. Once I was playing MP, got shot down by an enemy missile, said a team mate had TKed me with the cannon.. He was too far behind as well, plus laser warning was from the front.
  4. Anyone tried this with the nvidia 3d glasses? Not sure if they support this game, would be damn interesting though!
  5. lol, PC monitor is only a 19", 1440x900, TV is 40". I've never seen heat blur coming out of the engine exhausts in SP, only MP. Even when flying in snowy mountains. Also I was just in a MP game and DCS crashed, something about a C++ Error :( Oh well lol.
  6. Would rather stick to native resolution, although maybe next time I have my PC out I can try it on my tv.
  7. Problem is, I can't see it on my Ka-50 in single player. It's enabled in the settings menu.
  8. Yeah, other people have heat blur. Just cant get in in SP. Are Vikhrs meant to look like that?
  9. Hey, Just looking through the screenshot thread I see that the Vihkr missile thrust does come from where you'd expect, unlike in my game. Along with this I can only get heat blur working in some MP servers, and I'm not sure about rockets as I've never looked closely at a screenshot of them. Explosions seem to looker better in other people's screenshots too, could be nothing though. I'm running DCS 1.01b on Windows XP 32bit, amd 5200x2, ATI 4870. I can provide more screenies if you want.
  10. Turning on Auto Turn To Target might help. Default button is Q.
  11. I can only see the missiles, the stands only show up when that part of the mission is active it seems. They are always there no matter what option the mission takes.
  12. I KNOW WHAT THIS IS... I think :P In that particular mission (Clear Tv...something), those Missiles you are talking about are always there, HOWEVER they are only used on certain events.. The mission is.. dynamic in a way, for example: Once you will receive a message from the tower that the enemy has placed a HAWK battery in the area, destroy this then continue with planned mission. THESE are the missiles you are shooting. When any of the other events happen (nothing, and I've also had the tower say that there is incoming aircrafts, return to about 500m from the FARP and wait until Dandra I think it is sends some MIG's to take them out. Another event is when some planes come in and carpet bomb the area for you.) So, with that particular mission, IGNORE the missiles unless you get the message, in which case they should attack you.. They are arranged in a cube configuration, one pointing each direction right? Hope this helps.
  13. You can also just refuel ;) Finished this mission today, landing on the boat made me nervous!
  14. If that's the case, then everyone get it.
