Yes I am wondering also, IL-2 has smoke at cold start up why not DCS?

I don't think I have ever seen a warbird cold start and not produce smoke, a part of the starting procedure is to prime the engine with fuel so this fuel gets burn off in the start up. Please look into it ED as it is essential in MHO.
