That is what I find strange, I can max out most settings except SSAA amd SSLR and get better than 30 fps, but even with everything set to medium I still get 15-20fps at best when the map is crowded.

Hi all, I am trying to find a sweet spot for my graphics settings. I can get about 50fps...as long as there are few other aircraft or ground vehicles in the game. Once the map gets crowded my performance can drop to an unusable 15fps. Forget multiplayer for the same reason. What is the best way to improve performance with a crowded map? I'm happy with 30fps. Here are my specs: Intel i7 - 5930k @ 3.5Ghz 32Gb RAM RTX 2080 7200RPM SATA drive (I know) I don't think the slow HDD is affecting performance with crowded maps but please correct me if I'm wrong. I also haven't heard of any improvements beyond 32GB of RAM and the video card is on the higher end. Processor too slow? Some setting I should have disabled? I would very much appreciate any advice, thanks!

So the interesting solution for this was disabling Game Avionic Mode which somehow turned itself on. I prefer full realism anyway, this was somehow affecting the throttle function. Disabling this feature allowed the throttle to work. Kudos to DCS support who turned my ticket around in less than a day. Thanks to everyone else for the assistance as well, now on the the F-18!

I've scoured the settings and made triple sure there are no double bindings. I've defaulted the settings, tried different ch profiles like combining all the axis settings onto one stick, and so far I just cant't figure this one out.

It's not that, I get no throttle response at all. Is there a keyboard command to move the throttle?

I purchased the F-18 on sale and finally had a chance to fly but I'm having a weird problem with the throttle, it does not respond to the axis I have it assigned to. I'm using a CH Pro throttle, device 2, z axis. It is the only axis assigned to the throttle and I can see it moving up in down in the setup menu when I move it. It just does not respond in the game, the throttle never moves and it stays on full military power. I tried a different axis on my stick to test, same problem. I just tested with my other planes using the same ch profile including the 2000 which I bought at the same time, they all work fine. I didn't see much on the forums for this, anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong?

Bokeh I know bokeh is a photographic effect where things are blurry around the outside but your subject is in focus, has to be similar in the game.

Same here, and I"m down in my basement with just two very small windows at ground level. Still, during the day the sun shines in behind me and I can't use it. I just slid the tracker about 6 inches to the left and that was enough to get it working for me.

FINALLY!!! I've been dealing with a problem for way too long where I couldn't calibrate the device because the button was grayed out in the CH Manager software. I also didn't see them correctly listed, they showed up as something like CH Product 1 etc. Hitting the re-scan button would just crash the software. After doing this and re-scanning all three devices show up correctly by name and the calibration button is active. Thank you!

Livers had it right all along, I needed to download and replace the updater executable file which was far behind for some reason: You can install modules only after updating the DCS. Latest released DCS_updater is 2.9.8.81 To solve an error you need to download the latest dcs_updater from site: http://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ unzip the file and replace dcs_updater.exe in the "bin" folder ..\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\ Then, run DCS World game and repeat the process of update. After the upgrade, you can once again start the installation process for your products. Hi All - to answer the questions: I'm running the latest version of DCS (just updated a couple of days ago) and I've paid for the modules (they show up in the installer). Svsmokey, I think you are right based on the content of the error. Frustrating though, I really wanted to see Dubai and I really hope this doesn't happen when the F14 finally drops. If anyone comes across something that will let me activate and install these modules I'd appreciate it!
