Good event. 4 nice landings  Quite windy and a lot of birds :)

Great! They just flew over the airport :)

Buy the current best i7 but just the CPU don't make the system fast. You need a top notch mainboard also, don't save money on it! Also memory have huge impact on performance, buy the more expensive one's. It is as all other things, you get what you pay for.

Run repair. Search your windows menu "dcs repair"

Red Flag will definitely be better with more airports. I personally would like ED to focus more on airport and navigation features than perfect cities. But of course the chopper pilots like the highly detailed city as well but I don't think they fly a lot there. I guess it is like ED says, it was learning path for the designers building the city, and it is done in a great detail. Red Flag and other missions will be better now with Tonopha AFB and some of the smaller airfields. Personally I would like a larger map with more airports stretching to the west with the shoreline of the North Pacific so we could have a carrier there.
-
It was started by a 3rd party that left it hanging, ED took up the ball and released it as a addition to the A-10C. ED have also stated it is a learning map for them to develop and test their new tools. It is of course interesting for A-10C training missions.

Beautifull :D How do you add command of "smoke on"? Is it custom script?
No, it is in the selected options on acrobatic in ME.
-
It can be a driver issue and also a bad setting in BIOS.
-
Yes I see you are of the lucky one's that got to fly these impressive aircraft's. Wish I was there also
-
Yes, it would for sure be a interesting airport to have
-
Looked it up and the map needs to almost double in size to get up to Carson. ED is working on Tonopha and some long missed airport up there

No, the map is super tiny.

Univers Radio ATIS Weather information channel is activated on both our EU servers. You will hear the weather report by joining an aircraft at Kutaisi (F-15C blue side) and changing VHF to 134.600. It currently runs the default METAR information from UniversRadio settings. You need to be in the same channel as the connected client to hear the information, so this only works on blue side for now. Install UniversRadio and try it out by connecting to one of our public EU servers and on our public TS3 server. The connected TS3 Channels have the user "SERVER1-ATIS" and "SERVER2-ATIS" in the channels, this is the communication device. The signal degrades the further away from Kutaisi you are.
Server information:
**** TAW.NET - EU Public server 1 **** - Connect by IP: 37.59.10.136:10308
**** TAW.NET - EU Public server 2 **** - Connect by IP: 94.23.218.90:10308
You are free to use our public TeamSpeak: 37.59.10.136, password: wargames
So again Kutaisi ATIS is on frequency 134.600
Default METAR: UGKO 181000Z AUTO 28010KT 9999 CAVOK 25/10 Q1014
ATIS vocal message will be :
“Good day, this is Kutaisi Airport information Charlie recorded at 1 0 0 0 UTC. Runway 0 7. Wind 0 8 0 at 1 0 knots, visibility more than 10 kilometers, Few 0 2 5, ceiling, Broken 0 5 0, Temperature 2 5 degrees, Dew point 1 4 degrees, QNH 1 0 1 3 hectopascal 2 9 decimal 92 inches of mercury , QFE 1 0 1 0 hectopascal 2 9 decimal 8 5 inches of mercury . Advise controller on initial contact that you have information Charlie.”
Good job by the Univers Radio programmers!
Happy flying! :pilotfly:

there is a reconditioned Crimea map for DCS (more accurately: an extended Black sea map with parts of Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Armenia and Azerbaijan more) but unfortunately that's not available to the public momentarily
OK so there is hope, right? :)

Well I cant for my life see why they can not attached the textures to some other licensed pack object. A vehicle, a boat, a plane or as I first suggested, a old rotten barn somewhere in Georgia! OK so everyone can copy and share their textures but at least we who want to pay for it and have it distributed through ED's Updater will have an option and Starway will have his money!

Our TAW.NET NA public server is running Nevada at the moment. We also have a free to use teamspeak server there. Se our server thread for more information.

Happy flying :D

TAW also have public teamspeak that can be used by users on our DCS servers. See info in our server thread.

I completely agree but why not create a Tower view that functions like a flight controller desk? Or as a Ground controller desk? Should be no more advanced than adding radar and sights to vehicles, right?
-
I think this should be released as a Terrain job. Just add a old rotten barn somewhere in Georgia and pack it in as a licensed terrain extension. I would buy it in a blink of the eye as long as it updates through ED's excellent updater!
-
Well there is one way around the problem and that is for ED to offer Starway the Terrain tools and link the textures to new buildings or other map objects. OK then everyone could just copy the textures and use whatever works for the terrain but I believe this way Starway would have a lot of paying customers. Call the DLC for Extended Caucasus :D

Oherwise I'll have to hope someone would lend me their key to see and test if that is the cause.
I'm sure there must be some hiccup with your license file so you need to wait for DArt.
-
Already had contact with him. He's on a business trip and won't be able to help this week. Hence I am relying on the community to help me out
Well, when I think of it I believe your procedure is correct. Maybe some bug in your keyfile.
EDIT: Sniped ;). Anyway, can you try to save your keyfile from the email again by right clicking it and select "save as..."
-
I think you should get in touch with DArt at this point. Maybe wait here until he responds. I know he is working hard on fixing bugs so may take a while :)

140 bytes. You add the key using the client software I believe. Not by editing the .key file.
Formation During Combat in CAS
in DCS: A-10C Warthog

Combat spread 500 to 1500 feet is good. But with current visibility (if using no imposters) I will say 500 is the optimal.
