  1. It looks like they are not easy to find, a few days ago I saw them in amazon, and they listed it as available, but they will be shipped in three weeks, that's too much time. That's why I asked for another trusty online store, and SCSimulations look good and apparently they have it in stock. Too bad you waited several weeks just to receive a call saying they are not in stock. Cheers
  2. Found this one too http://www.scsimulations.com/index.php/flight-controls/thrustmaster-products/thrustmaster-mfd-s.html Thanks
  3. Hi, anyone knows about a good online store that has the MFD Cougar pack on stock? Thanks in advance :smilewink:
  4. Glad you like it guys, thanks for your comments
  5. Not tested in multiplayer yet but it should work ok, the editor just put the values on the lua file, and I don't think it will be detected as cheat, because it's an open file, instead of a file configuration or something like that. Anyway if someone try it in multiplayer, please let us know.
  6. Hi hreich, try to input the value on the intv field as 0.25 instead of 0,25. Don't use the " , ". Hope it helps, cheers.

Hope you like it guys  Saludos Quick CM Editor v1.3.rar
  8. Hi ZipLip, about your first question I use a 7" usb monitor to show the TAD and the loss in performance it's not noticeable at least in Beta 2, but in Beta 3 you really can notice it. And for the second question you need to modify some lua files to be able to use additional screen with the sim. Hope it helps, Saludos
  9. Thank you very much
  10. Hi, I'm planning to buy a ch fighterstick pro, but I'm not sure if it will fit properly on the base I made for the joystick. Please somebody could give me the measures of the base of the joystick? Thanks
  11. No time for testing the pots, very busy week at work, but here are some pictures of the throttle and the cockpit I'm working on, hope to finish it before December. Saludos
  12. The option of flushing the firmware sound good, but the joystick used is a generic one and unfortunately don't have that option, however I will try to recalibrate the pots and see if it works. About a picture will be a little bit difficult, because I verified the wiring before assembling it, but I will take a picture of it tonight. And about the question of the wire, can I use the same utp cable for modding the ch fighterstick, and if not, what is the best kind of wire for modding game controls?
  13. Hi guys, that's the biggest doubt I have right now. I modified a joystick to convert it to a throttle, but not everything work well. The pot that works as the throttle works fine, but the other two pots assigned to to the x and y axis, don't work as they do before modding. When testing them in the game controller test panel, they just travel only the half of the way they used to do, and sometimes the game recognizes the three pots and sometimes only the throttle pot but not the other ones. I checked the wires and they are properlly connected and no mismatched, the soldering is not broken, so the only thing that comes to my mind is, could be the wire used, the reason of the malfunction? In case you ask what is the kind of cable that comes in the joystick, it's very thin silver cable with many little ones, don't know how to describe it better, but I'm sure you can make an idea of the kind of cable. And the one used for the modding, is the typical 8 wires utp cable used for networks. I would really appreciate your answer because I'm considering to buy a ch fighterstick joystick and extend it, and that implies cut, soldering and use a different kind of cable, that the one used from factory, and don't want to have the same result with such a fine piece of game controller. Thanks in advance
  14. Hi, yes you are right, it doesn't work very well in 64 bits, and about ppjoy I've heard of it, but never used, anyway I'll read a little more about it, it sounds very interesting, thanks for the info  Cheers
  15. Hi BadCrc, thanks for mention this, it's looks really great, I'll give it a try this weekend. Saludos
  16. Hi guys, just a little bit later, but I'm here to tell you the results, and it works , it could be done with a free utility called HID macros, it detects the racing wheel when the lever was pressed, next step was to program the key combination, in the game it was changed from Ctrl + E to only the j key and in the utility, the key combination it's jjj, and after doing this everything was ready for a quick test. A quick mission is started, then get enough altitude ... grab the ejection lever ... get ready for it ... pull the ejection lever ... and booooooom the canopy blows away, and you get ejected from the plane, wooooooow just like the movies, you almost feel like you are in a real plane . By the way this utility not only detects additional gaming devices connected to the pc, but it can manage many usb keyboards, so you can have a more realistic home cockpit with many buttons, and this is the link to the utility http://hidmacros.medek.info/news.php Saludos
  17. Looks like I found a free utility that could work, I'll test it tonight and see if it works :smilewink: Saludos
  18. I'm not using nothing complicated for the pit, It's very simple, I use a racing wheel for the pit, it's just the ejection lever on the chair attached to a few wires, and when the ejection lever is pulled, the wires push a little lever on the racing wheel, that's all as simple as that. About the software for the racing wheel, it doesn't have any option for programming macros like the saitek joysticks, and was searching for some gamepad utilities that could do this, but found nothing. :(
  19. Hi, unfortunately I'm not using a saitek, but that method you showed looks really cool, and about the profiler for the cockpit, is that a software or a file from the game that needs to be modified? Thanks guys
  20. Hi guys, that's my doubt, I include an ejection lever in my home made cockpit, but it must be pulled three times to work, because in the sim it's configured that way, so my question is, is there a way to make it work with only one key press? Saludos
  21. Not sure about it's a BE or not, but I will check that, and about which one to choose, I think I will buy the Phenom II X2, it's cheaper than the X4, and can buy some additional DDR3 memmory, unless the extra core temptation wins at the moment of buying the processor. Thanks a lot guys
  22. Hi guys, do you think will be a noticeable difference in performance between a Phenom II X2 and a Phenom II X4 in games, in this case for FC 2 and the BlackShark? Thanks in advance
  23. Yeah, just in time for my one week vacation
  24. Hi guys, in a couple of weeks I will have the opportunity to buy a power supply for a new pc, but I'm not sure about the best option. I have a few doubts. The options available are this: Thermaltake purepower 600 watts CoolerMaster extreme power plus 550 watts My doubts are: 1- Can I use any of them for Crossfire? (Aparently the thermaltake could, but this generate another doubt, see doubt number 2 below) 2- Both options have only two pci-e 6 pins, and I'm considering crossfire with the ATI 5850, not now, but by the end of the year maybe. So with the first card the two availables connectors will be used. But when the second card arrives, there is no more pci-e connectors. Can I use the two 4 pin molex to pci-e adapters, to connect the second video card and expect an excellent functionality from the power supply. Is anyone using crossfire this way? The other pc components will be: Phenom II X3 2.8Ghz Motherboard ECS 790GX 4GB DDR3 1333 Mhz HD WD 500GB SATA II DVD Writer SATA Thanks
  25. In my first flight, take off, made some crazy maneouvers, crash the helicopter, and get promoted :megalol:
