  1. look for ''mirage 2000-c manuel pilote'' on google pdf can be found on http://www.airwar.ru
  2. It is possible to go supersonic on level flight depending on the altitude, but it is quite ineficient. When accelerating through the transonic region, unload to between zero and +1/2 'g' and use max A/B. Manoeuvre as required once above M1.1 to M1.2 On Mirage III it is forbidden to reduce the engine power at M > 1.6, but is it the same on M2000?
  3. It's possible to get stuck below Mach 1 at FL500. To pass that point you should loose some altitude -> FL400 then accelerate to M1.3 and after that move up to FL500.
  4. Thanks Chuck for the update of the Mirage 2000 guide.
  5. Thanks for the tip. I was wandering what I did wrong on this mission.
  6. Those 2 documents related to M2000 accidents shows interesting Jx records during landing (google & record the .pdf): BEAD-air-A-2011-004-I BEAD-air-A-2013-006-I What I understand (M2000C with 800kg of fuel landing): During aerobraking: Jx = -0.19 (146kts to 117kts in 8s) but we don't know the AoA so it's not a max value 3 wheels on the ground without gear braking: Jx = -0.05 above 100kts With chute: Jx = -0.15 below 100kts During gear breaking, Jx should be between -0.2 & -0.3. If 0 > Jx > -0.2 there is a break problem
  7. Considering the poor drag performance of the Mirage 2000: maybe we should try this standard Mirage III procedure to see if it can be done or if the drag is so bad that we crash the plane in the mud?
  8. The fuel consomption has been modified with the last update. It is no more possible to fly full throttle + PC during 30min and do M2.2 at 52000ft with fuel flow at 110kg/min. Now at high altitude with PGPC, the fuel flow is progressively augmenting with speed, which seems more credible. Good Job RAZBAM
