  1. Next DCS Title - my two cents worth ... Hello folks of ED Forums, As a long time player of ED sims (started way back with Flanker for DOS!!!) I have always been amazed/dazzled by the beauty and depth of ED sims ... DCS - A10c is the pinnacle of that development arc. Truely a deep and engaging sim ... well done ED! So what to develop next - that is the question. Realizing that our niche hobby may require developers to piggy back development of entertainment software with more commercial projects I would be very happy with a Super Hornet simulation. Best of both worlds: fighter and ground-pounder in one package plus carrier ops as a bonus! I would just like to add this one thought: please, if there is a viable commercial opportunity, don't forget those excellent Russian aircraft that the earlier products were built upon. Aircraft like SU-25t. I fly this a/c almost as much as the A-10 ... I like the speed of the SU-25t! :D "Thanks" - to the ED team for providing me with so many years of superb entertainment. 2. To all the hard working folks at ED: Thanks. This is a terrific simulation ... you have pulled it off in grand style. Take a deep bow, you deserve it. Cheers, Sleepy
  3. Hey Folks, Nice to see such lively discussion ... proves our hobby is alive and well. For myself I would like to see some varient of the SU-27 (the plane that started ED sims), or the SU-25t (the jewel in the crown of LOMAC), or the F-16 blk 52. Cheers SleepyCanuck PS: My sincerest best wishes to the ED team for entertaining me all these years with these superb sims.
  4. I have an old Sidewinder joystick and wheel/pedals combo kicking around aswell. ;-) Cheers and beers
  5. MS Sidewinder Mouse: might be the problem Hello All again, After doing some more reading in the forums I found posts stating that users were having problems when a MS Sidewinder Mouse was attached. I tested this theory by swapping the Sidewinder out with a Logitech G5 mouse and sure enough the game would launch in multi player without issue. Once I went back to the MS Sidewinder the problems started again ... damb! ... I really like the sidewinder but I guess I will have to unplug it when flying the Black shark ... a small price to pay for such an awesome sim! Cheers all.
  6. Hello All, after installing 1.01 patch I can start and run single player without issue or problem ... like the new trimmer! :) Unfortunately I am having lots of problems running the multiplayer module??? When ever I try and start multiplayer I usually get an error right away: "DCS has stopped working ... etc. " I am running Vista 64. Below is my system info and the contents of the crash log. Thanks to all for any help.
