  1. Another issue that I noticed: track ir intermittently stops tracking - this also happens in track ir app itself, and I have to throw my head around to get it to pick up tracking. I saw a few threads and trying a number of things. But that's another reason why I favor manual view controls
  2. I am more comfortable with using the hat to control views, I actually get a little neck strain trying to keep my head in the right position for track ir. For regular flight, I prefer to have the track ir off and use the hat to control views.
  3. I just got Warthog HOTAS and trying to figure out the best location/mapping for TrackIr On/Off and Recenter buttons. I would appreciate some example mappings that others are using. Prior to Warthog, I was using CH Pro Throttle and used the inboard and middle button on the throttle body.
  4. I did a major overhaul in how my controls are mapped. Since in Flaming Cliffs 3/ DCS world, most planes (F-15C, A-10A, SU-27, SU-25, SU-33) have a large commonality of controls, especially in views, etc, is there a way to have the same mapping applied to all planes across the board? Instead of having to manually choose every plane and map?
  5. That's the path (binding in DCS) I am taking. My concern was that the key mappings in DCS that I made to direct buttons got fubard and reloading saved ones still didn't fix it.
  6. I am unfortunate enough to discover CH issues with Windows 10. I have Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro pedals. I am experiencing the following issues: If I set my controls to "mapped" in CH control panel, the pedals and the throttle are no longer detected in DCS and the pedals disappear from my controls in CH. Furthermore, DCS labels the joystick/throttle by their IDs. If I switch the controls to "direct" I am seeing all controls, but can only use them as direct x buttons. I spent about an hour last night re-mapping the controls in DCS to work with the "direct" mode of CH. At the end, I saved the profile in a folder and left DCS. Today, I open it up, and for whatever reason, the DCS control mappings are all over the place. The same control is assigned to buttons on both the Fighterstick and throttle, despite me not having done that. I reloaded the file a few times, and the controls are messed up. Some of the mappings are outright missing. Is there a way to save export mapping and ensure that upon re-loading they are not lost in DCS? Did I miss something?
