  1. Yea i can see now it's also been removed from the DCS shop as well. I would guess incompatibility with 2.5 or due to the plot
  2. Hi... I was looking today at the steam store page, and i couldn't find the Piercing Fury campaign for the A10C.. what happened?
  3. Thank you! There isn't any chance to get those ogg files uploaded in the user files section though? i understand if it's not possible, but basically anyone who dind't update yet can upload those files and share them with us
  4. Can anyone provide the original main menu ogg files for the modules? After update all modules are playing the same boring generic music of Caucasus. You would do the community a great favour if you could upload them in the download section I really can't stand that Caucasus menu theme music over all modules Viggen, F18, F16, F15C, A10C, AV8B, F5E, L3, Mirage, SU33, Huey, Gazelle, KA50, MiG21, Spitfire, Mustang, 109 Kurfürst, Combined Arms, Normandy, PG, NTTR, All lost and now play the Caucasus menu music.. uugggggggggggh Edit: <Saved Games> doesn't have any sound folders....
  5. Hello So, i finally signed up in the forums as it takes time to get detailed answer on reddit Wanting to migrate from Steam to Standalone Open Beta to get the Supercarrier, but at the same time, not wanting to download the whole thing with the modules again, I searched a bit online, and it was pretty straight forward. Imported all steam licenses from the profile, they were detected and bound successfully Copied the files from steam to the install location created by the standalone installer, ran repair, and voila.. it's working Except for one thing... well, actually two things There is no purchased modules detected when signed in. It's showing only NTTR. Everything else is locked and saying "Buy" Double check, yea it's my account alright... I'm logged in. It's showing my name on the top. Repair asked me to move extra files to a folder called _backup.000 which I did (those files belonged to steam, and include the modules, they're 70gb) Problem is, no purchases detected. I own nothing. I never used Standalone before, but i figured from youtube videos, to the top, there is supposed to be a module manager, right next to the sign out and settings buttons, correct? Well I don't have that... for me, it's like steam Could that be because i copied everything from Steam? yea, i guess so I copy everything from the backup folder back to root, and launch run.exe, and it starts... with my purchases... except, it launches through steam now, and no module manager (so not standalone) Take them away, be standalone, have no purchases detected and asked to buy So now, what should i delete and repair again to get things sorted without having to download 110gb again as i'm on limited connection and this will cost me the price of a module :) Ran repair again, it removed said files, installed its own (yay!), but none of my purchases are detected except for Nevada (what?), and still no module manager in the interface How can i get this to be standalone? sorry for all that... but truly i can't afford downloading 100gb now and i really want the supercarrier in the presale Edit: Just got the Supercarrier... as expected, the SU-33 is not there.... none of my purchases are there, nor the module manager I really really don't want to download everything again lol .... help me please Edit 3: Got a PM from a kind user... for those looking at the same issue... go into config folder in root directory... and edit the retail.cfg file with notepad. Change from "Steam" to "ED" It will even detect copy over the modules from steam for you Thanks a lot /thread
  6. And that is absolutely okay. However, there should be an option to have the English voiceover. F16 and F18 with Russian voice over would do good for those who speak russian, but still, there would be english there, right? The majority are english speaker, and i'm new DCS as you can see... learning an airplane, and DCS shortcuts and commands, and reading text, while listening to something I don't understand.... too much. So yea.. an English option is requested for those of us who are new comers and non russian speakers.
  7. Yea sorry, i misread your original reply :)
  8. For some reason i read the replies as the first mission in the campaign having imperial.... i really need to sleep Thanks for your response :) Will give it a try as it's got a special place in my heart more than the F5 or anything
  9. So it could be switched to imperial for the campaign too? that would be awesome!
  10. Planning on getting the L39 and the campaign this sale to help me get into DCS since the F18 was too much for me. I only flew civilian airliners in real life, and when it comes to bombing techniques and so on.. i know nothing.. that's where i think the L39 and its campaign come in (am I correct?) However, I'm used to Feet, NM, and Knots as units A review on steam was complaining that the instructions before the campaign were too much, which isn't a problem at all for me, however, he gave an example of such instructions: "After takeoff, at an altitude of 15m and speed of not less than 200 km/h, retract the landing gear. At an altitude of 50-70m and speed of not less than 250 km/h, retract the flaps. When speed of 350 km/h has been reached, set the RPM to 100% and continue climbing with an acceleration to 350 km/h to 200m." Now my question before purchase is... can the L39 itself be switched to feet and knots and nautical miles? and if so... how does that switch work out with the campaign? I truly LOVE the L39 but if this will be a problem, i may go the F5 or Mirage route
