  1. Thanks for letting me know.
  2. Is George AI operating the FCR going to be in any future updates? George could scan with the FCR and link it to the TADS, as pilot you could see what has been scanned on the Video page and direct George to engage it or move to the NTS and so on. If not add, can it be added to the wish list.
  3. I had just done about an hour of flying using all the new George features, landed, taxied to the parking area, started the APU, put the power levers to idle and directed George to do his shutdown which he did and reported it complete. After two minutes in idle I moved the power levers to off, stopped the rotor with the rotor brake, then turned the APU off and George went into his loop of saying aircraft armed. I didn't save the track as I hadn't seen this post. I went back into instant action, caucus map weapons range with the engines running, bombed up the aircraft and went through the same shutdown process as earlier described and this time George was ok. I'll try a shorter flight using the George UI and come back and save a shorter track and add it if he goes into a loop.
  4. Just spent an hour flying with the new George AI in the Caucus map, instant action, weapons range. I basically had the manual open beside me and went through all the different ways to search (direct, area and point) with no weapons then weapons to get used to the lay out. Shot things with SAL/RF missiles and the gun. It's pretty good once you get used to it, there where a few things I couldn't get to work but will read the manual again and do the mission again. Like all study level aircraft in DCS nothing is as simple as getting in and flying and shooting but with enough practice and understanding of what the systems are asking of you it becomes a lot clearer.
  5. Hi Helles Belle,

I love your skins for the RAAF that you have done, I've downloaded the A-10CII grey nurse and the 12SQN CH47 skins.

Did you ever finish the other liveries for the A-10CII for the RAAF?

    Kind regards.

      Hi AJH63,

      Thanks for the compliments.

i’m working on a camo skin  & a all grey skin for the A-10II at the moment along with some F-16 skins. I’m waiting for the paint kit to come out for the chook before I do anything real serious with it. Time is a bit tight for the next month but most are advanced in what I’ve done so should be quick once I get back into it.

      Thanks for the update,

      Looking forward to the skins.

  6. Hi folks, as reported in a few other posts, there doesn't seem to be an animation for the wheel chocks when they are placed. I've added a short track to illustrate, best viewed from the outside view. Thanks. wheel chocks animation.trk
  7. Thanks for that info. Cheers
  8. Hello everyone, First part of my post. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can get an explanation of the wingman commands I can give. The A10C II manual gives a good explanation of what I can expect the wingman to do. Second part of my post is regarding datalink and single player with an AI wingman. Does D/L work with AI wingmen as it does with multiplayer wingmen and I'm just messing it up completely, or is it still a work in progress?
  9. Hi all, I posted this same question in the Apache forums and got some clues from one of the responses, I looked at the orientation of the FARP, in this case 180 degrees, went out a few miles and came toward the FARP on a heading of 180 and got a call to go across to the tower for landing clearance, as I got closer the tower gave me a clearance to land. So the solution to getting ATC in a FARP is to fly on the FARP heading.
  10. Hi Volator, your comments about centreline and glidepath gave me an idea to try. I looked at the orientation of the FARP, in this case 180 degrees, went out a few miles and came toward the FARP on a heading of 180 and got a call to go across to the tower for landing clearance, as I got closer the tower gave me a clearance to land. So the solution to getting ATC in a FARP is to fly on the FARP heading a few miles out.
  11. Hi, I've set up a FARP for landing practice with an Air Traffic Control function. The ATC gives me the the direction, distance and QFE of the FARP when I initially check in with them but never gets me to go across to the "tower" for a landing clearance. Am I supposed to get a FARP Landing clearance? Or is it just taken that when I check in I can land there?

  13. Hi, I asked the same question about the chocks not being visible back in January after an update and got no reply.
