Well, I guess this issue disappeared after after I installed Steam and Steam VR. I was reinstalling the entire gaming setup on a different rig and decided to configure PCL headset in Pimax Play before I installed the Steam VR... bad idea The processes are manageable now, besides I only play offline.

On top of that the newest Pimax Play leaves crapload of processes running keeping the CPU clocks at max AFTER shutting shutting the Pimax Play down and disconnecting the headset. I have to either stop them all manually or reboot the system. I have couple of main processes on manual start so they don't automatically start on system start.

What else... shake'em up, wake'em up. It will be fun to see what contraption ED cooks up

I'm glad someone else noticed issues with JHMCS implementation. A/A and A/G symbology should have a fluid transition through the HUD 'blanked' area. No... I don't have any docs, simply using common sense. Hopefully my common sense is not 'blanked out' yet. There was a thread or two on this subject looong time ago but the issue was quickly dismissed and faded into oblivion.

That's a small game... big players are just warming up . Little things like TP Link routers on the table today. Who knows what the next roll of the dice will bring. Hopefully the high rollers will get tired of this game and start another.

I've been on 24H2 for about 2 weeks now and haven't noticed any problems with performance (on non DCS stuff). Then again performance was also good before that. Oh, I don't run MS Outlook ;) or any other office type of stuff so I'm good... for now.

Now, that is a FAC I guess all internal test pilots stayed in the ready room instead of getting up to the roof and taking a spin.

That's just usual google data collecting crap and of course their chinese counterpart needs to be informed too . I've been running offline for weeks at a time and never had any prompts to login... so far. When I say 'offline' I mean net adapter disabled. Now, I ran into some strange behavior at the bootloader level (Grub) when I left the PCL's USB cable plugged in during my rig startup. I think it's just Grub trying to figure out wtf it's dealing with, lol. I'll get someone to help me to figure this one out. I'm one of the lucky ones when it comes to my PCL's 'quality' and haven't run into any tech issues. I'm only running at 90hz with no FFR. I don't have any plans to buy Super and didn't even bother to check that part of Pimax website but if this is true what OP said about not having an option to pay full price and forget... Well, before I use some colorful language I'd better go and check the website myself

Oh yes, the good old days of buying things locally, like when the original Oculus was released 'next door' (to me ) and zuckerberg was busy with other stuff... I think the situation will improve in the near future in my neighborhood provided some 'other' factors don't get in a way

I installed v1.34.02.01 (released on Nov 15) and this time my Win Defender was happy. The new 'RealtekWiFi.dll' modded on Nov 14 did not trigger Defender's curiosity .

or so I thought If I isolate this file my headset is not communicating with my USB3 port. Oh well, I put it back in, fine. I wish this PimaxPlay had a streamlined version just for PCL. There is so much useless for me 'stuff' running all the time. Yes, I configured the startup apps and processes for both Pimax and Steam, took out as much as I could without breaking it. Still have to kill off a few processes after every Pimax session is done. I'm not even going into piles of'leftovers' in temp folders... sure, some of them are needed. On a positive note I like the headset's performance and image in the apps and games I use it for. I don't care about its sound input or output since I use something else for that.
