Hi all Due to the rather complicated process of having 1.2, 1.5 BETA and 2.0 installed, I fear I'm going round in circles and losing activations as I go. All 3 were installed and going well. However, I bought a new SSD hard drive and uninstalled DCS World 2 Alpha so I could install it on my new hard drive. There are issues with that (stuck on "Preparing torrents" or "Shutting down torrents" messages) However, going to my 1.2 install, I am being continually asked to re-activate DCS Mig-21bis...and seemingly only that one. I have selected to retry activating it twice now (from the dialog displayed) and both times it's let me continue, but each time it does so, it uses an activation...and when I log in again, it asks me to re-activate it again! I'm currently down to 6 I think and I will be unable to play my DCS game until this is resolved because otherwise I'll be using all my activations. Any ideas please?

Hi all I was looking for the manual for the SU-25T and found it - but it's got details of "Game" avionics and is only 68 pages. Is the SU-25T only "game" mode? No "sim" mode like in A-10C or BS or the Mig-21? Thanks

Hi I've recently had to rebuild my PC after a failed attempt at uninstalling Windows 10 and now I can't seem to get Black Shark 2 activated. I had Black Shark and then the Black Shark 2 upgrade. I have keys for both. I have installed both and now whenever I go to start a mission (for any aircraft) I'm asked for the activation codes and it won't accept either. All other modules are installed correctly. I did have some messages about not being able to install one or two aircraft because the install I had was not of sufficient version...and I think I may well have received an error like that when trying to install either BS or the BS2 upgrade (or both) Any help would be appreciated. Does anyone know what the status of the coupons is for people who bought Mi-8 2 weeks before it was less than half price? Just asking - because I saw and announcement that they would be issued, but haven't seen anything (not that there's anything for me to buy yet as I have all your stuff!)

As far as I'm aware it will affect all aircraft - it certainly was on the A-10C Sim that I checked and no reason to assume it wouldn't affect any other aircraft - which makes me think it's a DCS World thing Anyway - in flight use the # key and I guess Comms will come up...note I haven't tried it in game - but noticed when I went through all the keys that when I pressed the # key (in the binding screen) it brought up the decsription Comms Menu

I've reported that here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=97996 In game it's the "\" key, but if you go to rebind that key to the comms (and any other controls that use that with SHIFT, CTRL etc) then you will see it shows up as OEM102 (or something) The # key is what is "really" mapped - even though the game shows "\"

Actually - I went back to test and it's only the "\" key...and all SHIFT, ALT and CTRL assignments to that key. The actual key on my keyboard that gets the Comms Menu to show is the # key (again on the UK keyboard)...and that is the same for all SHIFT, ALT and CTRL bindings. It's also the same for A-10C SIM - I tried it in there and it shows as OEM102 - so wonder if it's more a DCS World thing? I cannot prove or deny if the "\" ever worked as it should before any updates I'm afraid - so have no idea if this is a new issue or not

I was on a flight in my F-15 in FC3 and the communication button "\" wouldn't work (among others) When I came out I went to rebind the keys - so I cleared the binding and then rebound the key using the "\" key - but it showed up as OEM102 (or something similar). Clearly there's an issue there - because if that's the key it's detecting then it's not going to detect "\". So to get communications to work, I'd have to rebind it and get the OEM102 - and this would likely print off in the HTML - and would be totally useless - because I'd never know what OEM102 (or other keys) would be I don't know the extent of the issue - I only tried the Communication Menu and Switch Dialog - and both showed OEM102 and OEM102 + LSHIFT respectively. Can you confirm this is a beta issue and it'll get fixed at some point, or do you have any pointers what I could do to get the key recognised? I have UK Keyboard layout and Regional Settings set on Windows 7 64bit Ta

Thanks YoYo - the link to the hotfix corrected the problem. Thanks also Ironhand. I didn't pay attention to where they were being installed - just that they were in the DCS World folder - because I thought they'd be available in game (which they are now) Not wanting to "open an old wound" - what's the reason for the training videos being removed. I remember back in the day going through again and again and again the BS tutorials and they were great and extremely helpful. These are very detailed sims - any help at all is a massive plus for the player. It seems a pity to remove such helpful tools.

I can't find where it buried the videos in the DCS World folder - and don't know what they're called

I don't know if this belongs in DCS World - but as it applies to both Su-25T and Ka-50... I downloaded the training videos for these sims, installed them and they seemed to go in the DCS folder I have for DCS World - but when I go in game and click any of the links for training the error DCS World has stopped responding and bombs to desktop. Any ideas?

Just wanted to say I downloaded and installed 1.1.0.9 after removing the installed version. Thanks for the advice

I'm a little confused with the patch process. I saw 1.1.0.9 was out and went to download it, but underneath it says Patch for 1.1.0.8 only So I started to download 1.1.0.7 (because my installed version is 1.1.0.6 - but having read the notes underneath the patch number on the patch webpage, it says to completely uninstall A10C and install 1.1.0.9 full version... So I'm confused...as I have 1.1.0.6 installed, what is the process? Am I allowed to download only 1.1.0.9 and uninstall before installing that version? Of are each of the patches (1.1.0.7, 1.1.0.8 and 1.1.0.9) incremental and I therefore need to keep 1.1.0.6 installed and install each subsequent patch?

Ok - I'm pretty sure I posted a question earlier - in fact I know I did, but I can't see it for the life of me...and viewing all posts by wmar67 brings back a web page with an error on it... Are there any plans to release a physical manual as you did with KA-50?

Can I ask why the tutorials are not available in the patched game? I've NEVER got to grips with this sim and decided to give it a go again...and having checked the website and realising their was a patch, I obviously downloaded it and installed it...but no tutorials is going to hit me hard trying to get back to flying

I do have more activations left, but I'd rather have them reinstated whilst I remember. As you say, if I use all my activations, I have to say why...I may not remember in the future Thinking about it, though....so what. What are the chances of me using 8 activations and still playing this game when that happens? Not very likely. thx

I have recently suffered a fatal hard drive crash. At the time, I had my Black Shark simulation installed, so obviously I didn't get to deactivtate it. Can you tell me what you need to know in order to re-issue my activation? Thx
