If you look on DCS Persian Gulf and Nevada terrain you'll notice oil canals on the ground in patterns. Heaven put those there after Noah's flood so that HumanKind could find crude oil underneath. There are similar types patterns under the ocean and some lakes which indicate where there is oil but are made of something that reflects sonar. The ones under the sea have a diagram next to the place where oil can be extracted. The use of sonar mapping allows HumanKind to find these wells so that they can use them. Crude oil is not naturally created, it is a deliberate compound created for the tech tree for HumanKind. No one has actually ever tried to investigate them and try extracting oil that way.:doh: If you empty the canals of oil there is something similar on the surface.:doh::book: Construction involved machinery and Artificial Intelligence.

Interesting metal, when HumanKind interacts with Sentient Alien races we would in fact have the opportunity to exchange technology and goods. I do not know what is in that picture there but I can tell you that when Sentient Alien races do arrive and are officially welcomed by Governments worldwide then you might see them exchange technology. It will not be like in the movies or any movie ever made it would be like what would've happened if Neil Armstrong and John Glenn were to land on an Sentient races Alien planet who are just like HumanKind. ILS is a button on the UFC, ACLS is a button on the UFC. ILS should enter freq, ACLS should be for channels for ACLS. F-16 has ILS and you enter freq, Superhornet has the same. The F-14 and Harrier use preset channels which have to be setup prior to take off. So for the F-14 and Harrier they need in the ME the ability to select preset ILS channels which is a channel for a particular runway or aircraft carrier. eg F-14 flying to Nellis would have channel 3 for Nellis ILS. An F-16, Hornet or Superhornet, the pilots can enter the freq for the ILS on the UFC.

ILS is in channels when F-14s operate from an Airbase they have preset channels for land based ILS. Hornets have ILS IRL that is why it has an ILS button on the UFC. It is supposed to be in freq while ACLS in channels. So it would be a nice feature for in the ME to be able to preset a channel to a particular Runway ILS for IFR.

It would be good to someday talk to the pilots of those UFO's and find out what it was that they were doing out there.

ILS is ILS it is a standard requirement for all military aircraft particularly fast jets. It says ILS i:doh:n the cockpit. That is ILS and should work with all airfields, I don't know who the wanna be is that is lying to you guys but Hornets have ILS even the A version. So maybe send Wags to an Air Base and ask him to find out the ILS freq, climb into a jet with battery on and tune it.:joystick: Who the Hell has been talking to your people?

No the real F/A-18A and C have ILS as does the Superhornet. ACLS has channels, that is where the needles come from for carrier landings. ILS is for runways, entry should be frequency for ILS. Go AND TALK TO A REAL HORNET PILOT AND ASK HIM OR HER!!!:doh:

No the real Hornet F/A-18A and C have ILS. ACLS is channels, ILS is always frequency on all aircraft it is exactly like the F-16.

The real Hornet has ILS, F-16 has ILS, SuperHornet has ILS, F-15 has ILS. The real Hornet has ILS!!! ILS on the Carrier is actually ACLS not ILS and gives a different glideslope to that of runways. The pilots selects ACLS and set channel, the ILS is supposed to be a frequency not channel.:doh:

No ILS is modelled wrong IRL the Hornet has ILS which is a freq. It is ACLS that has channels for auto landing. On the Carrier pilots use ACLS but not Auto land, they use the ACLS bars without engaging Autopilot to land.:thumbup: ACLS cannot use ILS for Auto landing so it is for Carriers only. Hornets have ILS, any airport that has ILS should be compatible with the Hornets ILS even Russian Airports and Aerodromes.:joystick: It would be good if ED were aware of this and modelled it realistically. When the Hornet was built it was designed to land in any weather and ILS for use on runways is a critical system for IFR which always happens. Anyone who tells you that the Hornet does not have ILS to use on runways is not a Hornet PILOT!:doh:

Not as much of a concern as weapons capable of destroying the planet(there are 4) in which case the Wraiths will be there sabotaging it. That would be equipment and objects that you would not see.:music_whistling:
