I have been using the keyboard mapping for the quick start. I haven't learned the Huey well enough to start by the manual method yet. Good luck!

I haven't had any issues with cold starts with both 1.2.5 nor 1.2.6. I just finished updating to 1.2.6 and testing. However, the one issue I am seeing is that the idle rpm is lower than previous versions so even after a full start, the Huey has considerable shake. If if increase the throttle slightly, the vibration eases. Does anyone know if there is a script where the idle speeds can be adjusted to deal with this??

If anyone could help, which "LUA" file maintains the "history of active campaigns" in World? I have to restart every campaign with each update. Thanks for the help in advance.

I have come across an issue with the UH-1H that I have not encountered before. I do not play multiplayer on line just SP. I have for a long time had my options set to "Immortal". I decided to change this option and immediately encountered the following problem. I am currently running 1.2.5.116508.225.241. Since un-checking the "Immortal" option, every UH-1H Huey mission which I launch, within 2 or 3 seconds after starting the mission, the blades eject from the Huey. It doesn't matter if the Huey is waiting for a startup or the Huey is already started, the blades blow off of the Huey and I haven't given any other key commands for this to happen. Just launching any of the Huey missions will creat this problem. If I recheck "Immortal" in the Options menu, the blades remain on the Huey. I have a Track File attached. Any suggestions?????

Did a clean install about 3 days ago. Does anyone from Belsimtek read these forums????
-
Were your engines at a dead stop. These blades blow off without the engines even before beginning startup sequence. This happens 2 to 3 seconds after start of any Huey missions.
-
The stick is not being moved. At start of any of the missions, without the engines even started, 2 to 3 seconds after the mission is started, the blades blow off.
-
Control stick is centered at start of mission and "Sync" is not checked.
-
No conflicts with any of the assigned key options.

A-10A - Has "Route Following" option been removed?
spn replied to spn's topic in A-10A for DCS World
I agree with the information that Pepec provided as far as the real world data on the A-10A. What I was referring to was that with "Lockon On Flaming Cliffs 2", the "Route Following" is part of the key assignment options. I have Flaming Cliffs 2 mounted on a secondary drive and just tested. I usually don't fly the A-10A because of the A-10C being the AFM within World but I just happened to go to FC3 and noticed the key option differance. I think that the info Pepec provided was for the A-10C control options and not for the FC3 A-10A control options. Thanks for the info! -
With the latest release of the FC3 update, I noticed that "Route Following" is no longer available with the A-10A. The remaining FC3 flights, with the exception of the Su-25 which never had that option, still have this option. Has "Route Following" been removed from the A-10A??

PLEASE DISREGARD THIS POST. I FOUND THE ANSWER TO THIS ISSUE BY ACCIDENT. THANKS I was away for a month from using DCS FC3 Module. Once I returned from my trip and did the latest update, I noticed a big change with the FC3 A-10A key assignment files now being used. With all of the FC3 aircraft, they use the same key assignment for the Hotas, keyboard, pedals, etc. with the exception of the Su-25 which doesn't have autopilot capabilities. With the latest update, the A-10A has lost the autopilot capabilities because they have been removed from the control file. I have attached an example of the F-15C and the new A-10A control file for an example. I am sure that it is a mistake for the A-10A. Does anyone reported this issue or is that a control file I can modify to replace the current A-10A control file being used to get the autopilot options back into the control file???

Is there anyone at ED to help this poor guy????

Hey Guys, good job with the Huey. I am having some issues understanding the radio systems with the Huey. Could it be possible that you could do a training video on this subject???? Thanks!
-
RagnarDa, Sorry, new to scripting of any kind. Do you just copy the modified Medevac.lua in the scripts folder??
-
I made the mistake of accidently posting the issue in the wrong location and can't get the correct people to look at the issue. Maybe you can get someone to look closely at the problem.
-
Now compare yours to the two screen shots a few post up and see the if you see the differance.
-
It's to bad that you don't have a forward looking view of this to show the light source placement out front of the A-10C.
-
Here are two screen shot of a ramp start. One is before the NWS is engaged and the second is after NWS is engaged. It clearly pulls the light source to the right about 5 degrees of center, pulling the light source to the far right.
-
All I am saying is something has changed. It became very noticable with the last few updates.
-
Yes but you have only been with the program since May 2013. I have been active with this sim since the original beta

Mr. Sobek. Here is the screen shot of the taxi light with the A-10C. I am as squared to the white line in front of the A-10C as I could get. You can see that the taxi light offsets to the right side of the white line. There is a line to the left of the light source that you can not see. Thanks

Thanks. Yes, I just found it just before you posted this message. I haven't had to do very me screen saves for DCS but I don't ever remember having to find them in this location. I would always place them in a word document and use that document as an attachment.
