  1. Yea opened a chat and thats what they told me too. Downloading the beta now.
  2. I must be a total idiot and I'm just missing what to do... Bought Harrier, heli pack and PG map. On launch, game asking me for Ka50 serial/liscence ## but I can't find it on the orders page? Where do I find my ##?

    Steam sale?

He probably bought on the site here, and is chiming in on a steam sale thread.

    Steam sale?

If I buy Jeff now, can I apply to get the sale retroactively applied to my purchase? Stupid steam doesn't show the sale yet. Also thinking BS2
  5. Damn it, it's cool. I liked it. I was hoping there was a sensor on board to detect launches.
  6. Is the voice warning realistic?
  7. Please solve this mystery for me! A10A question. I love flying A10A if I only have a couple minutes to spend. Very easy to fly and kill ground targets. I recently went online, and a Igla S was fired at me... All of a sudden I hear a woman yelling MISSILE LAUNCHED or something... I never hear that in Single Player. Why? What button to activate in single player?
  8. Is there any way to get comms to repeat themselves if you didn't catch it? Or to review current objectives in a campaign? Sometimes I'm like 3/4 through a campaign mission, someone tells me to do something, I don't catch it, and then I don't know how to complete mission. Could ED maybe make an "objectives" cheat tab somewhere or something?
  9. One last question.... Is there a graceful way to put in the trim required to get on speed AOA after putting the flaps down? When I hit 250kts, I put flaps FULL with CTRL+F (it's working a lot better than SHIFT+F half flaps haha). But then I find that the nose pitches up a lot, and it's a struggle to get my trim into the system in a graceful way. I notice the ideal trim appears on the FCS screen to be 9-10 STAB. Is there a way to program it to come on with flaps FULL? Right now I'm just pitching down hard and poking my trim in, but it leads to porpoising until I get it settled down. Is there a nicer way to do it? Side question... On VFR straight in Mission, to practice landing, FPS drops from my normal 100+ to 25FPS once I land. Taking off and flying over the sea again, my FPS will only go back to about 50. SHIFT+R, spawns a new plane, and I'm back to 100+fps. What's the issue here?
  10. Flap setting? On a FRESH plane, spawn in the air, I can shoot an approach on the carrier just fine. I land pretty well. I use trim to set up my 8.1 degree approach with onspeed AOA. All good. However, when I take off again (then gear UP, and flaps AUTO) and circle around the carrier for a second approach, I put gear DOWN, hook DOWN, and hit SHIFT+F... I think I have an incorrect flaps setup or something because when I set up in my onspeed AOA, it puts me at a -2200FPM rate of descent. So I speed up, get on AOA and I'm nose at the horizon at 200kts. I don't know what I'm doing wrong with the flaps? Should they be on auto, half or full? Am I forgetting to "cycle" a system after takeoff? Is my plane stuck in a "mode" I'm unaware of?
  11. This thread turned out so much better than I expected. Thank you for the ideas guys. Some of you REALLY need to upload your missions for newbies to tinker with. Cool tricks.
  12. Hey so I like making my own missions. But I feel kinda cheap flying into an area when I know where the ground targets are. To mitigate this nagging feeling, I've been thinking that "real pilots" are briefed on their missions before they take off, and targets are pointed out by intelligence folks who are surveying the battlefield through satellite and drones... So it's not really "THAT CHEAP" knowing the location of units before hand, since real pilots already know roughly where units are before they fly in, right? Right? Just looking for opinions on this subject.
