  1. ummmm... nope. Just crashed again. Same details. dcs.log
  2. Ok thanks... The VPC mod has been deleted. Do I need to physically delete the others if they're disabled? I have created the new MissionEditor folder and have begun editing. No problem doing that yet but I was hours into it last time before it happened. But I think it's still not right. I was able to save a new scenario I was working on in Syria. I've only added a few groups and routes so far. While the ME did save my work it did not save it as a .MIZ file. There's no extension at all. They're just described as File and 0File. Photo attached. Those files will load in the ME. I had to change the extension so that they were visible. Edit: It seems I've been able to get the ME to save the files as proper .MIZ files now. After the mod removal and creating the new folder and a reboot of DCS they are saving correctly. I think. The effected files were a loss. Couldn't even save over them. Will let you know how the editing goes after I get deeper into it. Thx for the help.
  3. Great. I'll try that. I thought I had removed all the mods. Are you referring to aircraft mods or all mods? Might still have the A-4. Had some others but don't remember what or where they are. Will give it a look as well as creating the new MissionEditor file. Thanks...
  4. I was editing a mission on the Syria Map and save my work fairly often. Just in case. Every 10 or 15 minutes. As my mission grew larger and more complicated the issue started. I had no problem editing. Upon saving, or attempting to save my work, the ME crashes with a Constant Table Overflow message and DCS locks up. I had to quit through the task manager. Upon a reboot DCS starts and the ME starts up. But it will not allow me to open ANY missions. If I create one and then save it I can then load other missions. But the mission in question just crashes the ME again immediately. I'll attach the log and the mission. I edit a LOT of missions and have never had an issue until Syria. Possibly the map? EDIT: I spent a large amount of time today editing on other maps. No issues and everything was quite snappy and ran well. I think it must have something to with the map. 5. Is this also the issue for these weapons failing to stay aligned? I've been having trouble with GBU-38s, GBU-54s and CBU-105s. They all initially seemed to align pretty quickly after take off. But after a few minutes they all suffered alignment degradation. It was nearly always a very long wait for them to align after that. In some cases it never does. My recent missions were all over 20K feet. I'm interested to know if this issue is related to the very bad performance of these weapons. I've been experiencing that as well.
  6. Probably true. But Youtube preview vids really should be responsibly made. Cap made his and right at the top of his clip he announces that the super carrier was released this morning. Probably not the best way to do it.
  7. It seems the Grim Reapers have it now?
  8. I, for one, truly appreciate being included. The devs want to know what I think about this mod and what's important to me. What's wrong with that? I sincerely doubt that prioritization will depend solely upon popularity. I think it very likely that there are a large number factors that get considered. Our collective wishes are merely one of them. So, I'll just say thanks for asking for my thoughts and wait for the next round of improvements. If you hadn't noticed, they come pretty regularly.
  9. Was just getting ready to ask the same thing.
  10. I think this is probably accurate for me as well. Since I've been forced to do it properly it's been a bit quicker to get going. But I still do the Bit on the FCS. Just cuz it's cool. :)
  11. Interesting. My bird was cold and dark at TTRA. I'll give it a try at other airfields and maps. THX...
  12. Done that. But crashing into a tanker is worse. lol
  13. No. It was in Nevada in April. I'm pretty sure I had it at the default of 20c. Haven't tried the manual start yet. But I think it will work that way. The engine seems to run fine. It idles as it should and there are no warnings or caution lights. I would strongly suspect there would be some lights and some noise in the cockpit if there truly was a failure. I think it's just an autostart issue. And it's new if it is. I've flown this thing for 2 months now with no issue. Until today.
  14. Oh boy... I think I've broken my F-18. I typically like to start cold and dark but use auto start to speed things along. After the right engine spins up there is a message telling me there was a right engine rpm failure and the auto start sequence aborts with the right engine running normally as far as I can tell. As far as the gauges say it is idling at the correct rpm. I've tried restarting, rebooting, and several different missions. All with the same result. What gives? Has this happened to anyone else? Have we gotten an update within the past few days that might be the issue? Looks like I might be starting hot on the ramp for a while. Or could it be I've just punished my F-18 so much in recent weeks that it's just saying "Enough!" lol
  15. I'm pretty new to DCS and am learning at my own pace but having a ball. I have yet to purchase any hi-fidelity aircraft. After my experiences with the fabulous A-4 I am inclined to purchase a few of the hi-fidelity planes in the near future. The F-18 is high on that list as is the PG map. Of course, one will need the super carrier to complete that package! What are the chances such a bundle might be offered? I'd imagine I'm not the only one who is new to DCS and doesn't currently own these modules.
