no its not in the server list. I have the current patch i was playing on it last night. The server never shows up in my list though I usually have to connect with ip address.

I cant connect to it?

that is so sick...cant wait. I will be flying fast movers but it will be awesome doing some ops with blacksharks

There are like no multiplayer servers right now...what gives? Is this because of the new patch or whatever?

For some reason after installing this patch i went to play in the 104th server and i keep getting this error 30 seconds after joining.

are we gonna have to wait another month for that patch?

Still confused here. Is this not the patch that will integrate black shark with fc2 multiplayer? Is this the big patch weve all been waiting for?

dark eagle i know this is a lot to ask but do you think you could maybe put up a video of you playing black shark on your system? I like the AMD since AMD actually sticks to their sockets unlike intel...the 1156 is useless besides the i5. I want to see how yours performs.

Good points. I forgot about the turbo boost. I would only be saving around $20 with AMD route anyways. Its just that I heard someone complaining a while ago that their new i5 build didnt run blackshark the way he expected. Then ive been hearing MTFdarkeagle praising the 955 so it seemed like the 955 would work great. UGHHHH such hard decisions..

yes but that is left 4 dead. DCS doesnt support multicores, so in terms of DCS and lock on clock speed matters more. For modern games the GPU is what matters.

Since the A-10C was announced I figured it was about time I built myself a new gaming rig. Im trying to decide if the 955 would run the A-10C better of if the 750 would. Im leaning towards the 955 because of its higher clock speed (I dont plan on overclocking right away since I will not be purchasing an aftermarket cooler.)

Unfortunately still not working. I can see the ping being a problem though, as my ping for almost all the servers is in the hundreds...I have no clue why. I have wireless internet and get like only 2 bars that may be the problem. I cant get it wired though...parents wont let me... Please help me if you can, thanks for the quick response. I was talking to Mustang about this earlier he too said someone else had the same problem. Also, can you give me the direct IP to the multiplayer server, not the teamspeak server? THanks

Every since they put that new integrity check up today I cant connect to their server. They dont show up in the server list nor can I connect through direct IP. I uninstalled every last mod I had, and installed their mod man file to insure that I pass the check. Every time I try to connect through direct ip it stalls for a second then says "Cant Connect" HELP!!!

I tried uninstalling every last one. Still no luck. This blows.

You just made my day :) Im running an Athlon as well, except while your old Athlon was at 2.7ghz, mine is at 2.3 GHZ! I have yet to play blackshark but play lockon and have to do low settings. I think I will be getting the 955 pretty soon. If your difference was enormous, I think I will be one happy camper once I receive mine. Ive been really on edge between the i5 750 and the 955 but I think for flight sims the 955 is the better option.

This A-10C sounds like it is going to be even more realistic than Falcon, in terms of avionics anyways. Can't wait for this to come out. Thank God for companies like ED and Flying Legends.

Hey MTFDarkEagle can you tell me how you like the 955? Ive been so undecided between it and the i5 750. On one hand the 955 is cheap and seems like it has good performance, but on the other hand everyone says the 750 is better for different reasons but the LGA1156 socket it uses has no future in terms of new processors. I cant decide :( Im really worried about going with AMD just because, in my eyes, it seems like the big bad evil company who has super low prices but in reality the product is crap. I dont know why but thats just the impression ive gotten. Also the i5 750 is listed as 2.66ghz, but this is not overclocked at all. It can be overclocked as high as 4ghz with the right cooler. I heard AMD overclocks theirs before shipping so they can advertise a high clock speed. I HATE DECISIONS...ESPECIALLY EXPENSIVE ONES ARGHHHH!!!
