Mission three..Go to that position on the map and look for bad guys, report, then kill them and then fly to a position relative to the bulls eye....Well that was a surprise and all new to me..I had to figure out how to make a new way point and then use the TADS to find where that bulls-eye position was... Dunno if I can remember how to do it again ;-) Very good!

OK, cool! Very good campaign so far! Worth every penny! Great job! I am really getting into it and I am highly motivated to sim on and see the war through. The trouble is I am really rubbish (but learning fast) I am sure the militants will win pretty soon with me in command lol

OK, I just did it. I got shot by the MANPAD but got back to base with my guys..on to the next one.

I just flew it again and got shot up then had to divert. I crash landed but didn't die. But I need to re-do that mission again, its flight number 4 now. Do I just keep getting it again until I do it? At what point do I loose the war?

I am wondering how the progression of missions works. I have done the 2nd mission in the campaign when you need to do a low fly-past of all the main cities in Georgia as a show of force to the locals with varying degrees of success...well I did it once. After re-setting the campaign and playing through mission one a few times, crashing and dying a few times. The thing is it doesn't go onto the next mission. I just keep keep getting it again and again. How does the mission progression work and what happens if you muff-up a mission? What are the mission complete goals of that mission...stay below 500 feet AGL? If you go higher is that a fail?

So what do you do to correct it, use rudder or wing down or something else?

I have been trying to fly the A10 for a week or three now and have found that often the pitch bars on the HUD get skewed off to one side of the display. Why is that?

Oooh very nice indeed! Its loads better. I just bought the new campaign to, now I need to practice actually making the bombs and weapons come of the wings. Its a bit random at the moment. I am sure I will loose the war pretty fast

I have un-installed my old version of DCS world...what ever that was..I installed it a while ago but updated it until about 4 or 5 weeks ago then un-installed it and bought DCS world 2. Then I thought I would go back to the "old" DCS world and installed 1.5.2.48. The thing is...it might be my imagination but it looks different from what I had. The scenery is much more colourful and nice looking and smoother than I remember.... Is it just my imagination or am I looking at something different? Sorry for being thick :-) Somebody please explain.

I have now taken the pots out and cleaned them, it was really worth the effort, they are super duper now :-) I also put some tape on the throttle spindle which helped with the looseness of the throttle. The stick is still a bit wobbly but its not too bad, I can live with it.

Ahhhh sweet, I had my controls set to general not A10C. It seems to have detected it now! One more thing, how do you do that look at a whole panel view? Like when you hold Keypad 0 and press the number keys? I got it to stick last night so I didn't need to hold the 0 key down. I can't seem to do that now and need to hold the kpd 0 key in.. Thanks!

Lange, you sure about that? I don't have Zoom View at the bottom of the Axis page. Sokol1, wow that's a nice bit of kit. Got any more info on where to get one from and how to install it? Yurgon, I remember I did try to do this to the throttle pot as it got blown by the issues the throttle has if you have it plugged in and then do a hard reset holding in the trigger as you plug in the main stick to a USB plug..or something like that. I seem to remember that I trashed the pot when I took it apart or couldn't get it back together again or something...But I will have a little look at them again. Thanks all so far.

Hi, I have a TM Cougar here, its getting on a bit now. It all works but stick is quite glitchy now. The detected L/R/U/D outputs from the stick jump around when I touch it or move it a bit and its hard to centre properly. I think is due to the gimbals and potentiometers getting worn. I have read in the past that these sticks can be repaired/modified but that was a long time ago and I can't remember much about about what people did to them now. Is there anything that I can do these days to fix-up my Cougar and make it all accurate and tight again? Another question. I want to make the Antenna wheel do camera zoom in DCS world 2.0 with the A10 but so far I can't make it work. I had it zooming as I wanted it to with the old DSC world. I think I just went to the controls config page and AXIS config, then went to camera zoom and set axis then moved the wheel and it got detected but this doesn't work in DCS 2.0 How do I get around this? That's all for now.

Hi, I am now downloading the Nevada map, I have got my a10 module installed and my Huey. Is there any missions for the A10 in the Nevada map? I still need training missions mostly as I still can't work it very well. How about multi-player and campaigns? How are they going to work?

Hi Folks, I want to program my hat1 to operate the trimmer in DCS world with the SU25. The key command for the trimmer it to HOLD DOWN the right control key and then press either . , ; / I can't get the Cougar to HOLD down the right control key. When I test it, it produces one RCTL then releases it then repeats the character until the hat is released then it lets up the key. This is no good as it moves the optical sight as it's commands are the same without RCTL held down. How do I make the right control key get held down as well as the key? Well said! I totally agree. I can't believe there is such a glaring lack of anything in the way of an an official posting. Even just to acknowledge there is a problem and the usual we are working to fix it as soon as blabh blabh blabh thing would be better than NOTHING. Its just strange to be honest. Why spoil what could be a great thing by such rubbish customer support? It's beyond me honestly.

14 days. Not a dicky bird. I called my ISP today and they ARE NOT FILTERING IN ANY WAY my messages. So its not that. Perhaps DCS are just totally crap.

This is all bollocks! Get it together FFS! Its not being filtered by anything. I get loads of spam from Russia all the freeking time. I can log on with my ISP's webmail portal and my mail box is crapping empty so its not my antivirus or my mail program I also have mail washer which lets me check my mail boxes before I download my messages. That will let me see anything that is waiting for me. clearing Cookies...Yeah done that. Used IE10 instead of firefox....yeah done that.... Submitted a ticket...yeah.... followed it up...yeah.. asked for help online....yer.... paid £20 for all this bull....YEAH seriously...this is rubbish sort it out!
