4 days since I put my ticket in and still no response. Come on hurry up will ya, I want to try some MP!

I still haven't been sent anything yet or had my ticket looked at. That was 4 days ago.

I did a bit more re-mapping and returning things to defaults, and applied the patch....I was doing the "on the other side" mission and all my comms worked FINE.... So I dunno...lets see if the patch fixed it

I have tried re-mapping that key too. Still no joy. I get comms at a farp but as soon as I take off I can't get up any menus. It makes my wing man about as usefull as a sausage at a barmitzbah.

Same deal here..I have even made a ticket to which I have no reply and that was days ago. Which is just a little slack to be quite honest. Come on get it together DCS. Seriously.

Nope not using a multi monitor. I have tried some more and re-mapped switch dialogue and switch to main menu to Lalt+TAB and Lshift+TAB too. I also unmapped anything that uses the TAB key. I found two things get new plane in MP and another thing I am sure I wont use. I can't find anything to do with radio and the cyclic options.. I still get a radio menu at a base or farp with my TAB key but as soon as I statr flying about ..no menu again.. Hummmmm

I re-mapped it to TAB..That worked!! Well it did at the FARP but then as soon as I take off or do something else it seems to stop working.......

yep I am glad its not just me then....I have tried every possible combination of keys that might go with \ and / still no comms menu... I have a cougar HOTAS too and the comms menu isn't catered for in Viper's very very good cougar profile....

I can't get a ticket because I can't log in....Thats the problem. Their system immediately forgot my password....It wasn't me. I wrote it down a split second after I typed it in....

In the options under radio communications the communications menu is set to \ Under the communications menu switch to main menu is Lctrl and \ I don't have a left windows key as I have a gamers keyboard which could be a problem SO far no comms menu....I should be able to get a menu to talk to ATC, ground crew, my wingman and flight shouldn't I? I don't need to do anything special to get it right? Still not working.

No customer services? I am trying to get through to somebody to help me with my store account and serial numbers.... So far NO response what so ever.... Am I wasting my time waiting for a reply? Is there anybody there in the DCS shop? My password reset request produces nothing...Two emails to them...nothing..... Have they taken my money and done a runner? Not too happy at the moment...:mad:

Hi folks, I get the invalid serial number error when I try to make an account for DCSW BS2 multiplayer. I also can't log into the DCS account management or store. However I was able to buy the BS2 upgrade with a valid new account in the first place and obviously got the pass code e-mail without any problems. I also typed down all my log in details in a notepad as I typed them into the computer. I am very sure that I am using the right details. I remember when I logged out wondering if I would be able to log back in again..cos you know what some web sites are like....Well sure enough I couldn't log back in again. I understand I need to do something about registering the stored game keys I have to my account which might solve the first issue but despite requesting multiple password re-set keys I have not recieved one reply from DCS. So I can't log into my account management so far. I have also done a fresh install of DCS world (leaving BS1+patch installed), then the KA50 module (upgrade version). The KA50 module or BS2 works fine just, not in multiplayer. I have used that registry tool that gets rid of your your stored eagle dynamics game keys in the resistry before Iinstalled the BS2 module. That didn't help. The first time around i installed stuff in this order as far as I can remember: BS1 patched it with DCS-BS_Patch-1.0.1c_en.exe Then I installed DCS world (1.2.3.987_134) then I bought the module and activated it (I think). Then I installed a small file that gave me the KA50 in DCS world, KA-50bs1_en_1.2.3.9871_134.exe then I downloaded 4 files, 3 huge ones .bin files and this one KA-50_Full_en-bsupd_1.1.1.1.exe I then uninstalled BS2 and DCSW, rebooted re installed DCSW then just the module...Thats takes to where I am at the top of the post. Any ideas people? :surrender:

With my log in issue..I think what it is is that I have never made an account for DCS World multiplay as I have not got passed the invalid serial number problem. Perhaps I have changed my password I have made a lot of requests to change my password but still have no replies with a change PW code..... SO just to check...Uninstall BS2, Uninstall DCS...Leave my patched up old installation of BS1 still installed....Reboot and cclean etc then re-install DCS world, then the module KA-50bs1_en_1.2.3.9871_134.exe Thats it ...How about any registry keys left over will there be my screwed up serial numbers in there somewhere? I have that registry file BS2regDelKeys.reg should i use that? UPDATE I did all the uyninstalling and did use the registry reset thing which did get rid of my stored key (which was the one I got when I bought the KA50 module....It lets me make a user profile and then says invalid serial number when I try to go to multiplayer

WOW thanks for tha amazing replies! Good job! OK I think I get it now. Its my shop login thats broken..I think thats the one I need to use for DCS World Multiplayer too isn't it? Can/should I uninstall BS2 then and just go to DCS world and launch BS2 from there?

OK so I have read the stickies. I am a little wiser. I am sure my changes I made in stand alone BS2 didn't stay when I went into DCS world. I still don't get it. Does DCS World just start up BS2 as if I clicked on the BS2 icon directly? It seems like it is two seperate games. What is the diffrence between the two "versions" of Black Shark? if any.

Hi I am a noob I have a few questions. Whats the point of DCS World? Whats the diffrence between the DCS BlackSHark2 and DCS world? Why would I want to go to DCS world at all? I have DCS Black shark 2 now, I bought the upgrade last night. I can't log onto to the multiplayer parts of the game in DSC world or BS2. I get the wrong serial number/invalid account thing. No idea why. I am starting to work out how to do it again and this includes setting up my control axes. Why do I have two system settings in the controls section "sim" and "game"? Why do I have the two seemingly independent sets of settings in DCS world? Do I need to set up the control axes FOUR times? Why can't I log into DCS to look at my game/upgrade account or get a reset password from them are they having a holiday or something? How can I fix the multiplayer log in thing? I understand I need to get into the manage your serial number thing on the DCS web site and tweak my registered serial number things. I just can't log into the site. I could last night when I bought the game. I wrote down all the deatails as I typed them in and the next time I tried to log in it wouldn't let me. Help! Thats it for now Thanks
