Accodring to all these things which were talked about here. So it is really the sense of the RWR to let the Pilot know that somewhere, some miles away an allied helicopter is firing it´s Rocket? Sorry, that doesn´t makes sense in my eyes.
I always recieve hundrets of warnings. The first couple ones are notificated attentively, but then I start to ignore them. I want to go on with my things to do, instead of care about every single rocket which is fired. A further couple warnings later I get shut down by a rocket.
So how is that to be explained? How can I Identify an enemy and a "friendly" Rocket, if it´s not radar guided
I assume that's one reason why pilots announce when they launch missiles. Also, if you see a missile launch from a direction where are are no friendlies, it's probably not friendly...

This looks like the same problem I was having: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84124 . Releasing the bombs from a high altitude compensates for the problem because the trajectory is much closer to vertical when they reach the HOF.

View padlock and the HMS work quite well together. :D

Yep, you can add points and even draw lines on the ABRIS. In the BS manual (I don't know if the BS2 manual is the same, I don't have BS2 yet) the instructions for what you want start on page 253, DIRECTLY mode.

Is there any way to enable night vision in the external view modes? The regular NVG key combo (R-Shift H) doesn't seem to work with them.

New sound system is great! But, there's one problem... all the speech is now in Russian! I downloaded using bittorrent and installed the patch on an English 1.0.1c install.
to hell with this - Aireal combat is outrageous

Give him a break, he just sounds frustrated.
Here's a track I just recorded where I shoot down the two hinds without a problem, just ignore the bit near the end where I decided my rotor blades were too long, I got a little over-enthusiastic about making a sharp turn... :D
Argh, should have watched the track all the way through, the recording goes out of sync and the second hind survives... they really need to fix that track recording bug. :disgust:
I don't use any head-tracking or fancy HOTAS, just an old MS Sidewinder FF2 stick.
Ooops.trk
