[SOLVED] Thanks folks. I didn’t know about CR mode. I’m dropping in CCRP mode. I’ll try all and report back. Well, turn out I fell for the old manual vs default profile thingy. Although I was changing the parameters, I was the accessing the profile through DSMS which - NOOB ERROR - gives the default profile. Once I set the HUD as SOI and used DMS left and right to select the profile I’d entered, all was well. I hope this wee lesson helps someone else. Thank you. jj

The video was useful but doesn’t go all the way. It talks about height of function, I’m assuming above ground level, but the mentions altitude, elevation above sea level. The problem is, I’m in Instant Action at Nellis doing the Weapons Practice. Ground level is around 4500 ft QNH (altitude). I cannot release the CBU-97 Despite playing with the DSMS CBU profile and trying various height/altitudes. Can anyone please shed a little light on this? I’ve been through Ralfidude’s videos and On the Range. Thank you. jj

Did a search and it led me here. Have DCS A-10C II and tried to do the Stranded Sub IA mission. No luck. I have the freq 251 set up in the middle box, main, and bring up the comms menu. F2, F3, etc all work. When I try the AWACS, Overlord on F7, nothing happens. Also, no boats but the occasional ship. However, Bird On A Wire works ok for me. Wags tells me what to do, I select A-A, buzz past the hotel, turn around and stick an AIM-9 up his tailpipe. What am I not doing right in the sub mission?

Agreed. Mine was going loopy so I selected Camera View in the TIR software. As well as the 3 green lights, I was getting several red ones in a line underneath. Turns out it was light from the monitor reflecting off my gold chain. Seriously. So I tried turning down the sensitivity and in the end, removed the chain. It's either that or wear a silk scarf...
